I wanted to let you know that I went STRAIGHT to this ramen shop 20 hours after this posted. And by far it was the best ramen I had in Tokyo. We went back 4 days later because we already had the craving. Thank you for sharing!!

There is a TV show on YT called....Nihonjin no shiranai nihongo. Will help, maybe a little later when further along. The book "Japanese the Manga Way, an illustrated guide to grammer and structure" by Wayne P. Lammers is a must-have. It's an excellent, extemely well made book and covers everything.

That looks absolutely amazing! It's past 1am for me now and seeing this video makes me want to go to the kitchen to prepare a bowl of instant ramen (Samyang ramen with chicken or beef flavor) with an egg poached in the soup. But alas, I should sleep! Haven't ruled out making that instant ramen bowl for breakfast or lunch tomorrow

when i was in tokyo i stayed right next to otsuka station and that area is full of hidden gems. so many restaurants without any crowds (except for the onigiri place)!

Tell me about it. Japanese food places love branching so much, they even do it in Germany. There's this one Japanese Ramen shop called Takumi that's in a dozen locations now. It's probably the best bowl of Ramen you can get in Germany, so I'm not complaining.

It was such a sad moment when I heard Nujabes died. And in such a tragic way, too. His music was really good in Samurai Champloo. It really seemed like a couple other rappers were really hitting it off there in Japan too.

The main location, i got lucky. It was raining the day i went & showed up 11:45am & had my bowl in front of me by 12:15pm. I got the special truffle bowl & was it AMAZING.

Sup bruh I wona go to Japan so bad Im bin dyin to go there for years n I have to work ata job likea barista once I finish college so that I got paid the amount of money but Im dunno what depends on anyway Im from Puerto Rico but I grew up in US which the state is North Carolina n I still currently live in North Carolina for 18 years so Japan the dream country I wanted to go n when I retire in the future by age 60 or 65 I ll move from the US to Japan
