I know a white lady who hates being white… she doesn’t even want to be around white people. She wishes she was black… she loves everything black related, music, the culture, men everything but she married a white guy because he was safe. The way she talks about not wanting to be around white people is crazy. She said white people have no soul or rhythm but she keeps having problems dating black men now that she’s a 45 divorcée. Loni making fun of Adrienne not driving 🤣🤣 New Yorkers we don’t drive, lol. That’s true, my father controlled everything and he didn’t work and he was abusive and he controlled the government assistance and he wouldn’t let my mother work and he didn’t want to work too for fear of her leaving and he was around her 24/7 he wanted all of us to depend on him. He told me as a grown woman that I’m too independent ever since I was little. He said that I should be married with a child and my husband should be taking care of me. I cut ties with him and left his place in high school because of his threats and abusive ways. All he wanted to do was control me, not be a real father. I was always the one he couldn’t control and he would get mad and bully me and pick on me. All that I accomplished he will never be happy or proud of me, that’s because he never made anything of his life. He slanders me and when people tell him good things he twist it to make it seem like I’m an evil person when it’s him.

I do think people should apply the same standards to everything to keep it consistent. The agenda is that having brown skin when your skin in white is bad because you are appropriating from people who naturally come from that culture. This white girl is using parts of black culture to make money just like boys wearing makeup is using parts of woman culture to make money. The white girl is taking influencing opportunities from the black influencer and the man with the makeup is taking influencing opportunities from the woman with the makeup. You can’t just give the same behavior a pass just because it comes from a group you approve of.

The different is, that first Instagram girl can take off that darker foundation at the end of the day and be white. Real black or biracial people can *never* take off their born-into skin color and be white. And as far as what Jeannie was saying about black women wearing wigs - not so much now, but the history of that is *BLACK WOMEN WOULD NOT GET HIRED WITHOUT IT* (in years gone past). Again, I’m not saying in 2020, but even not that long ago - 10 years in 2010, I went for a modeling job and was told that my natural hair was “distracting” and that I would have to straighten it to book the job. I’ve heard stories of little black girls just minding their business in class and getting kicked out of school for wearing *their natural hair* (not a straight weave) in braids. Make it make sense 💁🏽♀️. Obviously it’s a lot better now, but the point I’m trying to make here is that, that Swedish woman is putting on the skin color and hair for fun, black women (especially in years gone past) had to put on straight/wavy hair *for survival.*

I've got a friend who is caucasian - both her parents are white. I can't remember which side of her family it is, but she had great-grandparents that were Portuguese. My friend has very dark olive skin, thick loose curly hair and plump lips. Her brother looks straight up white. She just happened to get recessive genes. I've always been envious of her beauty.

Its very obvious when appropriation is happening and it's not that women are too independent. By nature both men and women are dependent on each other. It's how the universe works. You need both female energy and masculine energy. This happens not just with humans but with, other species and plants...facts or facts?

There's a lot of black people bleaching and white people are hardly making a fuss. I really get this whole thing. I guess your American history makes y'all more sensitive

Here again is where Jeannie just like Megyn Kelly doesn't grasp the history behind black face. Also why is Jeannie determining what is offensive to black people. She isn't black although she at times adopts the stereotypical persona of black people. Loni was trying to educate her and she wasn't listening. Just because you're in an interracial relationship, Miss Jeannie it doesn't give you the right to speak for Black folks.

I think that if she thinks she's prettier like that , it's ok. It's her body if she think black women are beautiful and all I don't see the wrong . She never said she was black to begin with, and people push like when they see something they like . She's pretty and doesn't bring shame to black people. And it's true that she's prettier on the picture on the right so...

I don't agree with this man this is bull crap. I had a man husband paid all the bills everything but when I step in to do my thing he went ham. And didn't want to be in the relationship anymore why, he was out there cheating on me doing his dirt. See when they want total control you can't say nothing his accuse is he paying and taking care of you all around. It's called control. And I said I was taking care of me wayyyy before you stepped in my life and I can do it again when you walk out. Well I walked out and I'm good for 3 years strong.

Ok as far as that model chic. I'm with henie on that because she's not black facing she is letting everyone know she is black. White spanish and other races tan . It's not to look like a black person. We just like to look healthier with a tan. And make up does transform you when done right. It's a beauty thing not a race thing Loni!!!!! Also the guy in the last clip I agree with him. Men do protect and provide and it's nothing wrong with them. But yes we can and will do our own thing regardless but let a man be a man and protect and provide.

See this is the problem I have with identifying myself and bucketing black people as “people of colour” cuz y’all don’t ride for us. I was very disappointed in Jeannie and Adrienne in this video. Tamera is too grown to be acting clueless. This is not rocket science. You can’t excuse this as a fashion trend Jeannie Mai. For someone who likes black culture so much, you should know better. These two women have black husbands and don’t even understand why this is so problematic.

So stupid! This girl is half italian and half Swedish. She does have curly hair. During summer she gets tanned and off season white. I'm the same I'm mixed and white as snow white and really tanned in summer.

Genuine question is this only a thing when a white woman tans/curls her hair etc to look however she wants to look that’s if she’s not calling herself black like Rachel whatever her name? Is it not a thing when other races (often celebs who make money from these shoots) purposely take pictures looking several shades lighter with straightened/blond hair or weave from an Indian/Russian woman etc. I genuinely don’t get it and would like civil answers from people don’t come for me with the bs and arguing I won’t acknowledge any of that. Anyone have a reasonable answer?
