There are so many fools in the comments. Guys, if Russia starts a war with the United States or the United States starts a war with Russia, in any case, nuclear missiles will fly, because today these are two superpowers that have a huge number of nuclear missiles, Russia has about 5977, the United States has about 5428. These nuclear-armed countries specially prepared a giant nuclear arsenal to destroy each other. So in Call of Duty, this is just the main mistake of the plot. @@SuspectXX Air defense, this is not a panacea, it can be deceived in many ways, as an example, by thermal traps, if it's quite simple, if more complicated, you can launch pacifiers that will distract the air defense, the fact is that if everyone relied only on air defense, then they would have already shot at each other, there's more it plays a role that only one missile that hit, for example, St. Petersburg in Russia or New York in the USA will kill all living things there. But the United States has an advantage after 91 years in deploying nuclear missiles, since they are already deployed directly in Europe. Before the Russo-Ukrainian war, every piece of media out there heavily overestimated the capabilities of the Russian Federation lmao. But, even though these missions in MW2 were heavily unrealistic (as even back then, there would be no way that Russia could push through the entirety of continental Europe, get past the British navy, and our pass naval and aerial detection systems with no civilian evacuations and fortifications done ahead of time), I can't deny they were hella fucking fun. Now every gamer knows the callsign of the White House; Whiskey Hotel. Personally I'd like to see a West Coast invasion scenario in MWIII (whenever that comes out) as not only is that the more likely situation in the event of war between us, but I wanna see a spiritual successor to the Battle of Anchorage from Fallout 3 lol

Russia almost destroyed first army of europe, which was sponsored by 51 countries for 3 years. USA can't did it so fast in Vietnam and in Iraq even with NATO support. The media is afraid of Russia, not for its army, but for its strategic missiles and "Poseidon" underwater nuclear bombs, which are capable of demolishing half the coast. War with Russia will be the last mistake the world will make. And looking at you, I see only a victim of propaganda.

I see a lot of people talking about " Back when we thought Russia could X" I'm sorry but the entire Modern Warfare games make no sense from a realism perspective. Like how Russia is ale to get it's entire navy and troops through NATO waters and get to New York, while also paradropping thousands of troops in some random city with no real supply route. Then somehow Russia is also able to launch a full on offensive into Europe, reaching Berlin and Paris. The entire game is set in a world where things only happen because the story needs it to happen, and makes for great action scenes.

... As far as I know about western tactics, is that units are trained to seize initiatives wherever possible. In other words, there's a cold hard truth and that truth is the Russian Army is really incompetent. I mean, they saw the Moskva and SUNK it. The Maintenance logs reveal why the Moskva got sunk: It was INTENTIONALLY released back to service, with a rating of Satisfactory. While critical systems like Anti-Munition Systems barely worked, Radar and Communications couldn't be on at the same time and the Fire Extinguishers were locked behind secure doors with the Admiral only allowed to open them. While I see wisdom in this statement, I think we can reliably deduce, from 8 months of action, that the Russians are incompetent.
