A few years ago I slept in my hammock every night for about 3 months while I was remodeling a house I was living in. A good hammock will make or break your experience. Thanks for sharing.

Nice hammock system. I have the Blackbird and love it. I have always wanted to try out the ridgerunner. New follower here. Crow

I'm new to Warbonnet. So far a big fan of the Ridgerunner. The system is a bit too heavy for a long hike... but more comfortable than my gathered end hammocks.

I have a gathered end and I'm interested about the bridge. Undecided on which model to purchase at the moment. I've watched many videos and although they all give the specs none have mentioned the distance you require to hang. Just started watching your video and you stated the distance required. Thank you David for the info and other small details.

Basic rule I use is at least two feet longer than the tarp... assuming your tarp full covers your hammock.

Hi there. I’m 6 foot five and 180 this looks like a great hammock considering that I toss and turn at night a lot and I have difficulty getting a good flat lay in the diagonal in a gathered end hammock but I’m curious because I toss and turn a lot will it swing a lot as I’m tossing and turning or do I have to like think about that while I’m half asleep thanks

6'5" is a big boy for a RidgeRunner. I toss and turn alot too. And I do get some sway - but I don't mind that... it's like rocking me to sleep... haha. It does lay more flat than a gathered-end - a little rise in the head end, but setup with the foot end higher, and you'll be good to go. You should be aware that this is narrower than a gathered-end... my knee will rest on the dogbones when I sleep with my legs spread; which I don't mind. I'm 5'11'.

@@DavidonEarth The site says up to 6’6” so I’m just under the wire. But I’m a relatively skinny dude so hopefully that helps. Weight wise I could get away with single, but the sleeve option sounds good to me even if I already have an underquilt too(although not as nice as the Lynx). When on your side is the fabric tight and in your face since it’s that narrow?

@@MrBalas3 Q: When on your side is the fabric tight and in your face since it’s that narrow? A: No, not at all. The center part is only slightly more narrow than the head end.

@@DavidonEarth Sounds good. Definitely considering purchasing it probably on Warbonnet’s next sale which is perhaps Labor Day or Black Friday. A little savings is always helpful. And thank you for promptly answering my questions.
