Tyrande is on the run from Archimonde and Tichondrius and some of their Doom Guard.
As you'll notice, Tyrande's Inventory has completely disappeared, and has also been cleared. This doesn't have much impact on this level, but there's a decent assortment of items on this level which would give a nice buff going forward.
You can move and press i for the hide command repeatedly, and you won't get hit as long as you're out of melee range. It's easier with just Tyrande, but doable with a group of units too. Head to the NW corner for Slippers of Agility +3 and Claws of Attack +3. Head S and free the Furbolg. You can use it to tank the Doom Guard and kill it for some nice XP. Head to the SW and you'll find a Druid Pouch for +1 Intelligence, and some Archers which can also Hide. If you have any items equipped on your version, you can mop up some Doom Guards easily for experience - especially because of Healing Potions, and you should get level 3 soon. After the Archers you'll find some Humans fighting Ghouls (about an equal fight). Nab the Ring of Superiority for +1 to all 3 stats in a box nearby.
There's a Merchant to the NE so you can buy Scrolls for healing if you need them. There's an Orc base under attack from some Ghouls and you can nab a Mantle of Intelligence +3 (good over the Druid Pouch).
Head through the Waygate and you'll come across a Healing Fountain and a Shade, a few Huntresses will join you too. Head N and kill the Shade. With items you should be able to pick off the Doom Guard one by one then go back to heal, but I had to play more Covertly.
There's a Ring of Protection +2 which is a nice replacement for the +1 variant, and Gloves of Haste which aren't worth bothering with.
There's a Tome of Strength (apparently you need an inventory for them too) by the Humans and more forces in the NW by a Fountain. You'll also get Ballistae and can take out the Spirit Tower and nab the Manual of Health by it. Now head further NE for more units which will help you soften up the forces. If you take it slow you should be able to take the whole base out. I had enough units left to do so, but wasn't sure if I was close to running out of time because of the comment about needing to find the encampment before Day.
There's also a Hydralisk hidden in the trees which is tanky, and a path through the trees that skirt round the main base and avoid the bulk of the forces.
Either way, break the gate and head through to end the level.
