In this video join me for a walk which I started at a newly opened Campsite - Brosterfield Farm in Foolow Derbyshire. The walk is around 7 miles, and can easily be started from the village of Foolow itself.
Crossing back over the A6, we begin the walk through farm land (cattle, sheep and stiles for those who don't like them!) and head in an arc around behind Wardlow Hay Cop. After a steady ascent up to the trig point at the 370m summit of the Cop, we begin to descend into Cressbrook Dale, with beautiful views into the Dale and across to the village of Litton.
We turn right at the bottom of the path down into Cressbrook Dale and enjoy the limestone scenery up and below Peter's Stone (you can easily climb up to this if you are lucky enough to get better weather than me!)
Exiting Cressbrook Dale, we cross the A6 again and pass in front of the Three Stags Heads pub before taking a path to the left through a farmyard. From here, our route takes us back across farm land and a country lane back to Foolow.
