Lol at Heather telling Charlotte and Polly that they have signature style while Heathers style is the most unique

It’s definitely childish to care! It’s a huge compliment if your friends copy you. Life is too short to care. As long as everyone is happy & feeling good 🙏🏻💃🏼❤️

I have had many many of my friends copying me and buying what I buy so I have put a lot of thought into this. My conclusion is that we don’t ‘own’ any of the intellectual property of the items we buy. They have been designed and manufactured by others and therefore, are completely available for all to purchase. No one needs to give anyone a heads up because that insinuates permission must be obtained to purchase something. It is not the pieces we buy that are unique to us but more the way we style them - and even then I would argue that very few people have unique ‘signature’ style. Most people just copy what they see in magazines, on their friends, on celebrities, models, on runways, and on the gram. This is just my own opinion but I genuinely don’t feel that Charlotte or Polly should expect a heads up from their friends about any purchases. You guys recommend what people should buy for a living and are acting as influencers to others. How strange that your friends would have different treatment and need to post you when buying anything. Anyway just my opinion.

Super show, as always 🌺 Dr. Maryam you should never brush your teeth straight after drinking citrus, it will ruin your teeth, instead wait at least 30 minutes to an hour before brushing them

I used to get annoyed when friends copied my style …….. WHEN I WAS 8!!! Bit rich coming from an office of girls who literally copy each other every single day . And isn’t that what it’s about . Fashion influencers ?

Great show, as always! Love the chair yoga and Heather and Tor! Kind of strange hearing Polly gets so 'irked' at people buying things she has when she's an 'influencer' now??

I so agree with Charlotte it is weird when a friend turns up wearing things that are unique to you or that youve spent time hunting down I had the experience and it was awkward as she got given compliments and ignored me in corporate box haha

You know what, everybody has a right to buy what they want quite honestly and logically….HOWEVER…I have never ever wanted anyone close to me buying what I considered my own discovery. A cousin of mine always did that and she said that copying someone is the best form of flattery…I say that is a crappy saying…a compliment is the best form of flattery. When I was just a little girl I bought a t shirt that was quite different and stood out. Another cousin loved it and we both showed up at school with the same top a week later….I never wore that t shirt again because I could no longer “feel” it. It killed my buzz…I say lay off of my choices….if it is by a coincidence that is a different story but not a straight out copy. I know this so selfish but I am me and the other person who needs me as an inspiration will never pull off the look like I can…maybe better… but best to go find your own look and style.

I feel it’s lazy when friends copy your signature style. Yes, I appreciate not everyone is into fashion and gets ideas about what to purchase from other friends rather than from insta/magazines etc but ‘get an idea of your own’ springs to mind. Nothing worse than on a day/evening out with friends and it looks like they’re all wearing a uniform! (I’m my opinion) Ps I love Charlotte, Heather and Hodge’s style personally but appreciate it looks great on them, but wouldn’t on me.

Followed SL forever and not one to write comments. But the content is slipping of late, so much sponsored content and uninspiring fashion. Perhaps they’re overreaching with all these blush tobaccos... Either way, you’d think a fashion orientated show, would spot three of the panelists are in samey dull black and white outfits. Hodge and Heather are the only vaguely unique ones (unless you count charlotte’s admirable but somewhat bizarre commitment to staying to PJs, that swamp her great figure, all day). The emails are the same - a gigantic dwarfing blazer, a frilly blouse, a split hem trouser?!? Bit of a group think going on. If I see another scallop table mat… Jesus wept. They’re lovely but come on. It’s time to mix it up. Maybe SL should try for a whole week not to feature a frilly blouse? Colours! Different cuts! Curves! Vintage! Personality! Bold choices that aren’t just the Olsen’s ugly shoes! And dare I say it, could we see an ounce of goddamn sex appeal!

Your fashion content is becoming too repetitive. When you have people like Heather and Hodges style being so popular, why don't you show more diversity in the styling and fashion influencers you use? There is so much more fun and joy to be had with our wardrobes, please show us that too #nomorebasics (still love you guys though 💜)
