@MaikelJayksoon
8 күн бұрын
A lot of first generation Primaris marines were actually volunteers who were collected during and right after the Heresy to be experimented on by Cawl. Those marines were then kept in stasis until Gullimanns awakening, when he could finally give the Primaris marines the green light (because he also ordered the creation of Primaris marines but was obviously dispatched until the 41st millennium). That is why many Primaris marines (initially known as the nameless legion or something like that) literally went to sleep in 30th millennium and woke up 10000 years later
@Nickname-ef9tv

Theoretically Space Marines are immortal, though their profession brings such high mortality rates that it is exceedingly rare to live past 1000 years. Not to mention that some chapters have an unstable genetic setup. Serving 300+ years is already a very good cut. Virtually every Space Marine who gets past 1000 years is either entombed in a dreadnought (basically walking coffins with massive armor and firepower), has been in stasis for some time, or got lost in the warp where time and aging is completely erratic.
