I have the warne bipod... love it! Super sturdy, and I have the spiked feet that are warne brand.. also have it mounted to an Area419 arca/barricade stop.. No issues at all..I’ve seen complaints bout the pan, but, it can be taken part and the pan feature can be locked out, the it will only cant. I have also used the TB on a friends Desert Tech, another great choice, just has a bit more width between legs.. Very happy with my choice in. Warne. 👍🏻

I wonder if the thread pitch on the thunderbeast feet is the same as the Warne - could swap them if the bounce is an issue

I have the Atlas and neither one of the other 2 have that much more on the Atlas to justify buying one. But the thunderbeast is a close 2nd

Is the Warne reasonably rigid when loding? The one part about the Atlas that I dont care for is that it is very spongy when preloading and I have broken the swivel stud a couple times.

About 2 years ago I made my first bipod that had a feature on it that nobody else had all because I broke the one I had the year before. After I made it I started to design a new one, and there features on it (still trying to make it work but almost got it) that no one has. My question is is there a huge market for bipods, should I proceed to go forward and market it? Please let me know.

Hello Ben, Thanks for the response. The market is HUGE! Lots of CF and billet units bring 3-5 hundred. Long range is where the market is right now.

I’ve been considering this or the Accu-Tac LR10 possibly instead of a comparable Atlas due to perceived flex in the legs. What are your thoughts on the LR10 vs this or the atlas?

Any recommendation between the 3 of the bipods shown and the Accu Tac for a DMR set up 308 18" I'm really leaning towards the Thunder Beast, but wondering if that pan is crucial

What do you think about the click button feature on this warne that retracts in 1 notch at a time? At shot i did find the fill retract to be hard to manipulate but with the rifle weight resetting on the bipod, was able to click fast to retract. I believe the rep also showed a quick deploy feature in the notch system. Does this version have that?

I think the ''bounce'' thing with the composition of the feets is rubish. Proper recoil control is what matter not the feet composition on that matter. On the other hand having a nice soft rubber to grip on multiple surface is critical to be able to load the bipod properly. Nice review BTW.
@XRING

Thanks Viking and good point. However, the rifles like the Christensen MPR and the Proof Tac are going to jump because they are so darn light. Even when loading the bipod they jump and it takes a little extra time to settle down on the target. I never really paid attention to it until I read how their leg design helps to reduce hop. Maybe it’s the design and not so much the foot composition. 🤷♂️ Thanks for commenting

X-RING It’s a valid point in some case and the Thunderbeast design will always prevail because of the wider footprint. I’d be curious to do a side by side comparaison with bipod of the same width and configuration.

The Atlas feet allows the bipod to be loaded on just about any surface. I would have thought the fact the feet and accessories on the other bipods NOT being positively held in position would have garnered a bit more attention....

Demonetized bipod videos... wow... sad times The extension system is kinda neat(and worth developing further, can only imagine it is even trickier to do the quick retract when it is actually mounted), but for me personally i just dont see myself going with this over the Atlas. Not enough useful differentiation to justify the lack of track record, and that WEIGHT. Wowza thats a thiccy. I cant say i have ever once thought that the Atlas was not sturdy enough, just doesnt seem like a useful place to add so much weight. Think they need to bring that price down to around $250 to better entice people who would go Atlas, until they can establish a track record. Same note, dont see too many people in the market for a $320+ bipod, that wants these features, but wont spend the little extra for the TB quality when it is so similar. I suppose they are aiming at gamers and banking on that extra weight to be a value add to enough people. Swing and a miss imo, but always appreciate a solid try Thanks again fella
