I think Elon musk crude and showed that the executives have no f****** clue what they're doing and that the only thing they're good at is stealing other people's money from the hard work they do. And let's be realistic a second-year the people at the tub do not do anything as far as the actual art product or anyting is involved all they are is someone who controls the money and there really aren't any good executives out there who pay their workers a fair share of what they did and earned or even hire enough people to properly do the job they do not want to share the profits that people made with the people that did the work and they're willing to throw away all of their people's hard work for their own tax write-off. They are willing to fire the people that worked hard and they are willing to abuse all for Suoely their own profit.

@@AstraFulminous but that’s not what is happening or what I’m arguing for. It is within his rights to do, but man that doesn’t really feel good does it? That’s what’s happening here, it’s not the artists who worked in these projects hiding it and I didn’t advocate for people stealing this art. I advocated that if the king doesn’t like the art the artists should have control of the art or have it donated to the public. This is why I specifically said corporations. When they write the art off on their taxes they can’t use it to make money and the art gets buried.

Why does cancelling a finished and not faulty or dangerous product for no reasons give tax ride offs? Now of course you wouldn’t want tax ride offs fire releases as that would just encourage them to make any old crap. Better to outlaw tax breaks for companies and give them to families for dumb things like having children, or not getting an abortion. That might be the more effective way of forcing women to not get them. As that seems to be a priority. (That is just to split the base and hold on to power.) I’m not sure what tax breaks poor struggling families should get. I would almost say, No taxes for anyone without a net profit of 1000$. As in at the end of the let’s say month they have 1000 $ to add to any sort of savings or other such nonsense. No tax unless you can actually increase your liquid fortune by 1000 a month. Pre tax. With increasing taxes pet 3 figures added to that number. That is how taxes should work.

Things that may or may not have happened in the movie: The miniature city of Kandor gets destroyed accidentally and the character who did it sweeps it under a nearby rug hoping nobody notices. Giant bottles of ketchup and mustard are used as offensive weapons in an extended fight scene with no mention at all of Condiment King. Alongside Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet and Invisible Tank, the Invisible Trolley Car makes a (non) appearance. In a villain chase montage, Shaggy and Scooby disguise themselves as statues of Jan and Jace from the Superfriends cartoon; the villain of course is oblivious and passes them right by. Many of the deep cut callbacks are handled well and aren't thrown in your face, more blink and you'll miss it than lampshaded. Lex Luthor uses his computer watch to hack a vending machine because he's hungy and wants snackies NOW and his assistant isn't nearby to fetch him coffee and a bagel. The gang gets dropped into an Aquaman themed area and accosted by a shark; luckily Fred is wearing Batman's utility belt and saves the day with Bat Shark Repellant. ... okay most of these don't happen but some are close.

I can’t help but feel like some of the reason Velma has been spared of the write-off wrath is because unlike the smaller Scooby Doo projects, there’s big names attached to it. If the writer of some Scooby-Doo straight to video movies complains about their project getting canned, WBD can rest easy knowing not too many people will talk about it aside from major Scooby Doo fans and people discussing artistic integrity and whatnot. If it makes you feel any better, LEGO fired me from working at one of their retail stores, because I posted a video where I described myself as an employee and receiving a gift from them, but not actually showing the gift or describing the gifts contents. An item that is exclusive to those partnered with LEGO, mind you, but had already been shown to the public by others who work with them on their own youtube channels, visuals and all. I was only told prior to receiving the item, that I would be fired if I attempted to resell it while still being employed. And I wasn't given a harsh measure about posting photos of it online or for any grace period after receiving it. Meanwhile each following year I would see LEGO employees openly publish photos and sometimes video of their employee exclusive gifts without any penalties whatsoever. So yup, WB going after creators for acknowledging the existence of a cancelled yet completed film, is no better than other corporate giants of their respective media industries.

@@realityshifter3399 Yeah I don’t buy it. They released fucking Suicide Squad they can release Batgirl. It’s not gonna “ruin” anyone’s career, and I’m pretty sure the writers, directors and actors would all want people to see the movie they worked for several years on.

What really has me incensed about Warner Bro. going through with this copyright strike streek of there's is that... *_they_* made the decision to cancel these productions. Like, you canceled these works, you have no real right to claim them as *_your_* property. Honestly that would be like as if I raised a child for 15 years, abandoned them as they hit 16, and after discovering them to have been taken in by a relative of my neighbor into a loving and caring household, I fly into a rage and take the people to court. Like yeah, _I_ canceled my fatherhood subscription but let me still try and stake a claim on the child. Warner Bro. can eat shit.

From what I can tell, there may have been a scene with Streaky, Batman, and/or Ace the Bat-Hound, but if it existed, it may have been cut. It makes me wonder if that scene was cut due to it being voiced by Kevin Conroy, but he hadn't finished his parts. I wonder if Mr. Conroy's passing may have contributed to canceling this particular project too.

I think what waner discovery is doing right now is dispiceble, they are not only devaluing animation as an artform but they are also devaluing all the people who spent there life to make art they belived in. And they are taking away their hard work, their voices… as an artist growing up loving scooby doo and cartoon network, i find this truly horrifying. I really hope that all the projects that waner discovery has dropped gets a new life because the artist and people behind the projects deserve it. I've made my peace at this point that Warner Bros will NEVER change. No matter what company they merge with or who's in charge, they're just gonna continue to get worse than they already were and as always, dragging the DC brand down with them. Like seriously, does anyone else think DC always suffer from their disrespectful, dumb as hell decisions more than their other franchises? I don't know what the hell it is with them, but they not only treat the fandom, even the non-toxic side, like the villains, but they're their own worst enemy more than we are! I don't trust Warner Bros but I trust James Gunn, Peter Safran, Alan Horn and an increasingly low number of filmmakers (James Wan, David F Sandberg) and that's it! I'm hoping filmmakers for upcoming movies can prove themselves and the filmmakers who made mistakes in previous films can redeem themselves. You know which ones they are. They're the only hopes I have now for ANYONE working for Warner Bros. I'm also still holding out hope for a SCOOB 2 because I actually think a Hanna Barbera cinematic universe could work if executed correctly. Maybe James Gunn could work with Scooby Doo again and exec-produce those movies the same way he will for the DCU.

I really enjoyed Scooby Doo and Krypto too is what I would say if I had actually watched it. I'd probably also say it was very clever and full of Easter eggs for both DC and Scooby Doo. While I have no intention of arguing there is nothing wrong with video piracy, legality aside, I see nothing wrong with accessing content that studios have not seen fit to provide a legal way to watch. I usually encounter this issue with old TV shows that weren't popular enough to get released on DVD and for which there are no agreements to allow it to be streamed. But WB has taken these things to an entirely new level. I was really looking forward to the Batgirl movie which starred Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser. I certainly wouldn't mind if that film were leaked. That wouldn't effect WBs tax windfall, so why not? Unfortunately, there is a reason for WB to take action to prevent a leak as if the film is bad it might detract from a future Batgirl movie. But I really hope it's leaked anyway.
