I’m English and we’ll miss him too but more in commentary than the cricket. I dreaded when he got the ball in hand but the mike he was funny and knew his stuff. He was entertaining and a bit of a larakin that made him loved despite destroying us again and again.

One of those few sports people and personalities to transcend his home team or nationality. People from anywhere in the world with even just a passing knowledge of cricket would know who he was, want to watch him play and hear what he had to say. That's a true legend. RIP mate.

0:25 I’m so glad Warnie pointed out there’s a big difference between mental health and struggling to hit a ball. Because some fools out there would claim he’s belittling men for seeking help. When he was doing no such thing. What he was doing was getting in the head of someone who had told him he was living there rent free.

I think I probably started to really get into test cricket around the 93 Ashes tour. That Australia team struck me as a bunch of guys you would not want to owe money to, lol. As much as I was impressed by some and amazed by others, I'd have to say my favourite player was Boony. Can't explain it, just loved watching the guy.

My favourite one was Steve Waugh was playing for the New South Wales team. And just taking his time to find centre. At which point some nufty on the other team called out. “It’s not a bloody test match mate!” To which Steve Waugh replied “Obviously it’s not, you’re here.”

It was James Ormond: James Ormond arrived at the crease to bat against the Aussies, Mark Waugh greeted him with: "What are you doing out here? You're too s**t to play for England!" Ormond’s response? "Maybe so, but at least I'm the best player in my family".

niru9886 0 seconds ago Most overrated bowler in history.. a poor record against India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Took a bunch of wickets against teams who couldn't play spin bowling in general. And abused drugs right throughout his career. His addiction to cheating with performance-enhancing drugs led to his premature death. He can use performance-enhancing drugs to help him in the bedroom, but he couldn't use it to be the world's leading wicket-taker... such a shame.. aussie druggo boguns. should be stripped of all his wickets disgrace to the game.
