Buying a land in Accra is very dangerous, not only can you loose your money but your life as well. There are litigations on almost 90% of lands in Accra. The danger part is successive government have turned blind eye with land issues and with criminals gangs called land guards which the government is well aware of, Ghana government has not done anything about those criminal gangs.

How dare he!!! I was in Accra 2 days ago and was really tempted to pay a visit to the KAS office and hopefully get a chance to speak some moral sense into the agent’s head. Social Media is a very powerful tool, so KAS Estate needs to be very careful about that. We’re no longer leaving in the ‘stone age’

Good on you Tilly for making this video, you are far more brave than the male witness who let Leslie down and went missing in action when she needed him - and missing for only one of four reasons that I could come up with: 1. he feared being beaten himself by someone as retribution for supporting Leslie further 2. he feared retribution by juju 3. he was enticed by and fell into the trap of corruption himself, and was paid off with money by KAS estate, not to support Leslie 4. absolute apathy… he doesn’t want to trouble himself with business he doesn’t view as his own problem… and yet it is his problem… Every time that witness (and anyone else for that matter) stands by apathetically and allows another man to treat a woman that way, he is condoning that behaviour as acceptable, therefore he is condoning the same happening to any of the women he has in his life that he cares about, wife, mother, daughters, aunties, female cousins, female friends. When he is not looking, one of his fellow men could do it to one of his loved ones, because that is the behaviour he condoned by apathetically standing by and allowing it to happen in the community around him…. Just as he himself will suffer the effects of tolerated and condoned corruption in his every day life - because it is condoned and participated in at every level - from the bottom to the top. And yet, he and even all of those people you described Tilly, who stood around apathetically in the video watching the uber driver beat a female passenger… well, they all will still go to Church on Sunday, maybe even Friday, maybe even to some late night prayer vigil during the week and pretend to be good Christians…. everything is all okay isn’t it? - as long as people walk into their Church every week to absolve themselves of the corruption they either participated in or stood by and condoned…. I guess Ghanaians learnt Christianity from the white colonial slave masters and so this is why fake Christianity is still so frequently practiced in Ghana today without even realising it because just as you said Tilly, too many minds are still asleep and not realising it! The white slave masters sang their hymns and praised God in churches built literally right on top of the atrocities of the slave dungeons in the slave castles such as you can see in Cape Coast… they lead and taught this mindset by example - any corrupt act can be committed to better yourself, your position in life, as long as you go to Church on Sunday…. isn’t it so? Isn’t that the way of so many Ghanaians (of course not all), without them even realising why it is they still think and behave this way? They were taught it by example and they still follow it. That is not real Christianity, because a real Christian would not be so apathetic and just tolerate the abuse of other people and the committing of corruption in every aspect of daily life, from top to bottom - a real Christian would make that behaviour unacceptable in the community around them… Again, well done Tilly for speaking up, stand strong and all success to you. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I was assaulted by a Yango driver Ezekiel Quartey, on Monday 3rd October 2022, at approximately 21.30 in Accra, Ghana. The driver said he did not have internet and could I direct him, but was constantly looking at his phone and shouting out of the window to people that he knew. The fare was Ghc9 so I took out Ghc10 and he immediately said he had no change. I hear this all the time from taxi drivers and asked him to get change from the bar. He angrily got out the car, slammed the door and attempted to change Ghc100, instead of the Ghc10 I had. He said he could not get change, I said I wanted my change and he angrily shouted that he did not want the Ghc10 payment and to get out of the car. I tried to give him Ghc5 but he threw it on the floor. He went round to the passenger side and proceeded to drag my bag from me through the window, he ripped the handle off, threw it into the middle of the road and all my possessions scattered, then he started to lean on the car door, trapping me inside the car. He raised his fist and pulled it back as if he was going to hit me. I started to shout to the young men inside the bar, they ran out and told him to open the car door. I was only able to collect my rain coat and a piece of the bag. My hands were cut and bleeding and when I started to take a video of him, he jumped into the car and drove off. The men told me that he said I had refused to pay him and said he was angry because he wanted a longer trip and more money. I made a complaint to Yango. They said that they were not in a legal position to conduct any official investigations and hold drivers legally responsible. The drivers details are: Quartey Ezekiel, +233 55 848 3010, white toyota vitz GE9937-22, employer: JISALJOH ENTERPRISE, j.blankson@yandex.com, Tel: +233 59 632 7401

I forgot to say that the police tried everything to make me NOT make a statement, telling me it would go nowhere and I would have to pay all this money, he reluctantly called the Yango driver small boy and said "he said he's driving and that he will call me back later", what a joke the Ghana police are! The woman who was there was picking her teeth and chatting to the other police office and the one who told me it would not go anywhere, was on his phone while I was telling him what happened! This is a comedy!! In Jamaica, this small boy would have been beaten and questions asked later, in Jamaica, most men respect women, it is the other way around in Ghana, unfortunately the colonisers left their rules for Africans to follow!!!!

@@tillytothetophere Some of the things you said we're valid. It is true there are big social problems in Ghana that the government and the education system should tackle going forward. But not all Ghanaian men are female abusers. Also the idea that women are not allowed to accomplish things by themselves unless fronted by a man is a little far fetched. My mother was already a business owner when I was born in 1961. She sold in the market with lots of other women. She ran her business by herself. GH women had equal pay right from independence. GH women were able to vote right from independence they didn't have to fight for it. Things are not as bad as you make them out to be. Women abuse is worldwide problem and of course it exists in Nigeria and also in America. There have been several such reports in America involving renowned celebrities, politicians black and white. Women are protesting in Iran as we speak. You started well by showing the alleged abuser and his company on you phone but immediately pushed it aside and started bashing Ghanaian men. Interestingly you exempt your brothers and male friends. Yes there are incidents but let's call those incidents out. Let's take on our justice system and let's put our government feet on fire. @@gb6041, Well said. I hope she does not go wild like that in her videos. She can make all her good points without going wild like assault and corruption is specific to Ghana. Well, America has bigger gender abuse cases plus corruption cases. Trump is corrupt, Jesse Jackson's son was imprisoned because of corruption, Kwame Kirkpatrick (mayor) was imprisoned because of corruption, etc. America is more corrupt than Ghana in terms of dollar value. She really has to do her research before attacking Ghana that way.

@@tillytothetophere Surely Mr Tsopoli Tsopoli… you should only feel such offence if you fit the description of the cowardly and corrupt males Tilly described. If you do not fit the description then why so fragile and offended? Tilly spoke positive words about the many Ghanaian men who are good men… but did those words just pass straight through your ears because you did not feel any connection to them? There are plenty of good men commenting on here that are true mature men and can decipher the message Tilly is trying to deliver. They are not cracking and crying all over their comments and shouting in CAPITAL LETTERS hysterically, with such offence - because they are not offended like you, because those men feel secure in who they are, are actually strong in spirit and mind and clearly know that it is not them who is being taken to task here…
