In 5 years we will have an economy with more trust and less disenfranchised persons. Because the challenges ahead demand individual, community, and regional (local) innovation to balance and heal the fragile globalist markets. The health of the economy will be based on the number of people and the amount of personal sovereignty of those people within it. If not 5 years then 10…if not 10 then 11 years and a few weeks. 😉

I like the explanation and the knowledge of Raul Paul about the baby boom how he explained as simple as possible with the jobs ! Basically everything that is going over or under some certain levels in any aspect in life, always create disbalance in future period. We should all know and everyone from politics and normal people should understand at least about to put some RATIO on everything . If we take the time that we are at the moment plus all the technology we've created , imagine now what the future will be and how this will affect every human on earth ! From my point of view, we human species never gonna learn how to create abundance and equality for each person on earth as we are not humans, but worst than animals ! Again great video , I'm very new into Impact theory but one of the very great channels out there ! Thanks

I would like to ask why discussions of economic history always seem to ignore the elephant in the room which is the bankruptcy of the "United States" in 1933 (legally defined as the District of Columbia, a corporation which is foreign to the states of the union). The bankruptcy was preceded by 2 other bankruptcies approximately 70 years apart. 1789, 1859, & 1929 marked by significant historical events but publicly attributed to other causes. The entire global monetary system has been controlled by a private banking cartel since then. Those entities have the people convinced they are "debtors" and not the creditors they are in reality. The entire legal system and everything else is based on the bankruptcy. There is no "money". There is currency but that is comprised of primary notes such as the Federal Reserve Note, which is not real money as defined. It is a "note" which is a debt instrument. Without discussing those critical things a discussion of the economy is like building a skyscraper without a foundation. Everything we deal with today is based on the bankruptcies. Money, banking, your status, law and the "legal system" controlled by the private BAR, property ownership, rights, etc, etc, etc.
@highvibe4839

And I believe another bankruptcy occured again in 2019, as did Australia’s connections to Washington DC Foreign Soil.. That’s why Australia is a basket case of tyranny, Weather manipulation, smart cities agenda rolling out, we just had corrupted Voting take place. I’ve never witnessed my country is so much distress, and worse is yet to come, inflation, interest rate rises, supply shortages, good businesses have disappeared overnight due to the mandates especially, these individuals who have high jacked our country are lawless, ruthless, greedy, calculating, deceitful, some are finally in court rooms as I type, now we need judges on the side of the people to hold them accountable.. globally we need to push back on there sub human agendas. Best wishes to all decent peoples with what’s coming..

58 min in two things stood out for me. 1) I like the explanation around the concept of the post war American dream which gave a lot of positive expectations of the future. This by itself is fine but if the masses end up massively indebteded inorder live above means life now in the expectation that things would work out down the line somehow become problematic - the demographics and other considerations make this assumption tricky (somehow debt needs to be paid down and that could only mean either being inflated away over time or assets crashing to the ground so that the new generation can afford to buy them...either way the wealth that we're witnessing could end up being a mirage once these all ends). 2) The second observation/question is; how does one work 120hr work week and also say sleep is important to them? Basic maths mean if you work 16hr days seven day per week you work 112hrs per week leaving you just 8hrs per day for sleep and nothing else unless eating, washing, exercise,etc is now included as "work". Just wondered :) I love your shows always bro. Cheers!

Now what's interesting about this time in history is the potential explosion of productivity output from AI, Automation and robotics. The economy doesn't care about where productivity and output come from, it's concerned with the balance of money supply vs goods and service supply. So I guess the question is when will the technology get to the point where it has an even greater deflationary effect than the amount of money in circulation.

alright, just a quick correction 2 min in - the oil price home it's not purely because of Russy. its because oil companies never raised production since pandemic cut in production (when everybody stayed home). its good for them because profits are higher like this. I would say that is major factor here. Thanks

One other factor Raoul didn't mention that increased labour competition for limited opportunities as well as drove up asset prices in the US and over the developed world was the emergence of the dual income household as the standard model. Not only did it double the competition for labour during an age of increasing automation, but it created a massive cleavage of wealth in the working and middle classes where high achieving women demanding at least the equivalent achieving spouse, creating a double advantage and conversely a double disadvantage at the lower end. This severely decreases the chances that working and middle class people will live in the same areas also, as they aren't in the same stratosphere for housing and land price affordability unless people severely stretch themselves beyond their means to repay. No judgement though, it is what it is, let's deal with it and move on.

Great point. I would argue that the cost of living has been increasing so badly each year, since Nixon, that spouses had no choice but to put the toddlers in day care and contribute to the escalating bill cycle and new tax add ons that these gov corporations relentlessly foster upon us

the problem with relying on the market "self regulating" is that it CANT given the financial climate. one of the reasons for soooo much inflation is that governments have been printing so much money. and also the manipulation of interest rates on loans. I mean, Sweden for example, had interest rates at 0% for a longggg while encouraging people to take loans and spend their money menaing that people got into more and more debt and all of these price bubbles were created with money which doesn't really exist making the economy of course really freakin vulnerable - and with manipulation like this the economy CANNOT rely on the market to even things out. I've gotta say, I'm really scared for what the future is going to look like not only economically but also socially, environmentally, politically, etc. it just seems like there are so many ideas that have been implemented which have just completely messed things up :/

The markets are held up as the answer to all our problems like it's some magical force that benignly corrects any mistakes made and can do no wrong. The fact is "the markets" are run by people who put us in this position in the first place by printing money like its going out of fashion. Why should the rest of us have to pay for their caprices? It's like 2008 all over again. What next? More government lies? More debt nobody can pay off? How about that other good old accounting mechanism of writing off debts? That would give everyone a clean bill and we could actually build something better for the future where EVERYONE gets taken care of, looked after and there's no more struggling to just stay alive.
@lyrechee

@@mypointofview1111 i completely agree! I mean, markets being called upon as an entity which corrects everything is just not true. Sure the market changes depending on human input and output (how much people spend, work, save) but in the end, if the governments are being insane "printing money like it's out of fashion" (- using this because I liked the way you phrased it lol xD) the economy can't just be expected to iron itself out and be fixed, it's just being flipped on its head and then oops- hyper inflation and a huge economic crash, who would've thought? I mean NGL the most fucked up thing about it is that the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and then the middle class gets hit with a fricken sledgehammer having to pay for all of it while being unable to support themselves anymore, I mean, it's actually crazy xO

The golden rule of investing generally is "diversification". You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. A friend of mine lost almost half of his inheritance in the Luna crypto saga. Personally, as one who has been into Real Estates for as long as I can remember, I made my first million earlier this year from stocks and NFTs (through the help of a pro though). I also experiment with a couple of other things. Imagine what the situation would had been given the real estates market if I were solely banking on it.

All past kingdoms of the world have followed the dynastic cycle , where entire cultures and civilizations have pivoted in a catastrophic way. So what do you do to put yourself in a position where you can elevate your life during a massive thesis dynastic shift???
