These 3 guys are made for each other. What 1 player lacks, the other covers. Steph isn't the best defender, but Dray & Klay got him. Dray isn't the best scorer, so the Splash Brothers got him. Klay isn't the best passer or ball handler, so Steph & Dray got him. They work together cohesively to bring out the best in each other. Reason why they had so much success. Basketball is a Team sport period.

When no.77 Klay returns, the Trinity will reach for new heights. Stef is obviously holding back or being held back for his return. Steph, Klay and Draymond always get grouped, but there is another missing ingredient from this recipe that should not be left out and it should be obvious after what we've seen so far this year once the spice was added back into the mix. Andre is also an unselfish leader that blends perfectly with the others and adds that extra oomph that puts the finished product over the top. 4/5ths of the original Death Lineup.

Ppl don’t acknowledge enough Dray’s role in Steph and Klay becoming the 1&2 best shooters of all time. Sure he gets his praise for his defense and playmaking…but specifically he was the rock that made them Splash. Arguably the strongest trio in sports history…Definitely in this era. I know we’ve been spoiled to have a decade with them all sticking together, but i truly hope they all end their careers as a Warrior. I know thats asking a lot in this day and age, but hopefully the trajectory of the current roster keeps trending up and when they eventually retire they are still crushing it. I know its asking a lot Lol. A kid can dream though.

The way the crowd is getting more and more into it, his body language, and just the fact that the dude dropped 3+ points per minute? It's freaky. That's a point for every 20 seconds he was on the floor. And, the cherry on top, he never missed one, not even after he was fouled behind the 3 point line (he just chugged the ball after hearing the whistle and nothing but net). Not to take away from the positivity of the interview. But this just shows how KD was always gonna be an extra and not a full warrior. Steph, Klay, Dray all went through the trenches and got better together including beating KD coming down from 3-1. Of course he’s an all time great but never was gonna be part of the real culture since he already established himself as his own thing. I’m a big Steph fan for the same reason draymond describes his humility. This guy by his 6th season was called the greatest shooter EVER. Basketball been around for over a century and to be called greatest at something in the middle of your prime is insane. But because of his humility he never let that get to his head and instead just keeps working and getting players involved. Maybe sometime down the road we’ll see another amazing trio again. But i highly doubt it will be organically made like the warriors and spurs because of all the player movement.

False…they included KD but They saw from early on that KD was just using them…he was never going to stay because he was worried about how the media viewed him…he went there to win a chip so that he could get that bug off of his shoulder…then when it came down to sign kd was acting like he had options…so draymond called him out…Steph, klay, and draymond were loyal to gsw…KD was acting like a free agent stopping through

So sad and funny at same time: Dray's version of "consoling" Klay after he tears ACL and team loses in finals, is to go to Klay's house and clobber him in dominos and making Klay fork over $4,000. But you know, like a true friend that he is, Dray knew that the best way to help Klay is to fuel his fire of competition (in this case revenge even) to keep Klay afloat and keep him from sinking into a pit of depression. This is one of the several jewels of this great and timeless interview with Dray (who IMO is one of the GOATS of not only Basketball but of Team sports in general). To me, Dray is much like his predecessor from the Michigan State Spartans, in terms of loving and playing the game the way its supposed to be played: Ervin Magic Johnson (who along with Kareem Abdul Jabbar are also my GOATs. (Let's face reality: Magic (and Bird) owned MJ until both were too beat up, sick and old to play). Team players like Dray/Curry/Klay/Magic/Bird are the real GOATS of team sports, not those who seek to use their sport as their personal platform to prove they are the GOAT (but end up only proving they are just goats (the ones that lactate).
