I’m a year late to this response but ESPN doesn’t control what sports are popular. Maybe if baseball viewership on TV was not at an all time low and fans actually showed up to games (even before covid almost every orioles and white Sox game had less than 7k people) baseball is falling off regardless of what is happening in ESPN. Also there’s too many games and it’s pretty boring for a majority of the game unless you’re a diehard who knows the little nuances of the sport

@Eric Graham I don't know how people compare roids to stealing signs? PEDS enhance your ability to heal and be stronger...you still have to be able to hit the ball. Knowing what pitch is coming next by using a camera in center field and then relaying those signals to the batter so he knows whats coming is a whole nother level. That would be a huge advantage for even the average person let alone a professional hitter. Either you are an idiot or an Astros or Red Sox fan. If I'm up to bat with 3-2 and I know to lay off this next pitch, no amount of PEDS can make up for that. You are effectively playing cards and knowing what the other person is holding.

Heres my major issue with soccer. You could put ME in goal with a 2-0 lead at halftime and my team would most likely win. Soccer needs to have smaller fields with less players and scores of 7-6 to get me to watch. I know im in the minority and Im ok with that. But to me its the most boring thing I have ever watched. I do love this basic fact since then the MLB has been like oh yeah the Red Socks and Yankees also did it around the same time. In these years the Astros have gone to every ALCS and only missed the world series twice.
