With the European Court of Human rights getting involved and with the fact she had been a model prisoner and incarcerated for decades no longer being seen as a threat to the public , in cold legal terms she was entitled to parole. I really do wonder if she was released with a new appearance and identity . How horrified and sickened people would be if they knew she was living amongst them without their knowledge. A possibility? The coffin does look light. Anyone carrying one needs very careful balance and you're usually too afraid to take your other hand off it too, even if you stop for a moment. Neither of them have their other arm up / hand holding it. Sadly I do believe she may have been released and protected. The best way of doing so by announcing her death. Where are the photos of her at almost 8 stone? I've been reading a lot about this case recently and some beliefs about David Smith having a larger role than anyone knew. Yes he brought them to an end but I've always felt others may have been helping them from time to time. I have no doubt Brady and Hindley had trips away to other parts of the UK and are responsible for other disappearances away from home that we will never know about.
@Briardie

That's interesting. Anyone who has witness a coffin being carried or has done so, knows just how heavy and precarious it is. I am also intrigued by the link between J Saville and Brady and Hindley. They met at a club in Leeds area way back in the 60s. It just makes you wonder.

I reakon MH is dead. That coffin was a decoy for public to see a funeral taking place, so public can keep MH buried into the crime books from now on, and also just incase that coffin could be targeted for attack, Her body was moved off elsewhere for discreet cremation. It does seem possible shes out, but that woman was spotted by a nurse may have the unfortunate resemblance of MH looks, quite rightly gets upset when its mentioned. Personally, i dont think she was released. Public uproar if she was actually identified and her life at stake. She would have been a prisoner in her own home. Whats the point of being released from one to then hide in a one of your own making for safety.

I was born in the late 50s and was told not to speak to strangers (I lived in,a village in Scotland and nobody was a complete stranger but, there were some people who I found strange and kept away from and other than that it was outsiders we were really wary of) as I remember it, we were warned against women and men. By the time the 60s ended I was 12 and knew to keep away from outsiders and people who had that weird vibe. I think the Moors murders influenced most kids as my mum was horrified by them. I think because there had been kids killed locally by a female killer (in my mum's lifetime) we were warned against anyone strange as opposed to just men.

The coffin shown isa regular one. The weights quoted are for the large American Casket type coffins. These require six pall bearers and a double sized grave hole. The regular coffins as shown in the image are often carried by four pall bearers. When you attend the funeral director to make arrangements for your loved one’s funeral they tell you this. A funeral involving an American casket will work out at double the price.

It seems to me a major condition of parole would be to reveal where the final missing child was buried on the moors in order to be given a proper burial. Given this never happened such a deal with the devil would not happen without the location of the (was it the Kilbride boy who was never recovered) last missing victim so I dont believe it. Another massive condition of parole is admitting your crimes before the parole board. Aslong as she continues to maintain her innocence negates any possibility of parole. Also too many people would have to be involved in the coverup for it to not leak eventually by someone involved who had a conscience

I think it’s definitely possible she was released and given a new identity because there was a fascination with her by a bunch of wealthy people, also if you know about her time in jail and how so much time and effort was made for her and the prison officer who worked at a men’s prison got sent to visit her on weekends and he arrived once to find her holding a baby in her arms at some sort of prison party day event she was holding another woman inmates baby in her arms, the idea that upon getting to a prison you could find a child killer inmate holding a baby of another inmate is way more harder to believe than that of the child killer being secretly released without the public knowing and given a new identity i think, So yes i believe her holding the other inmates child really happened and i can believe she was quietly released and i think they were fascinated by her the powers that be were and excited by her and wanted to do a lot of research with her on her, I mean she was having relationships with people in the prison and people working for the prison system i think a student of psychology that was working at the prison was having a relationship with her I think her name was Nina

Wow 😯 great video. Her face no matter her age was always so recognisable. That big angular head and the location she was allegedly spotted. All very interesting!!!

There was enormous security around her corpse, until she was cremated. I don’t think the Uk prison service would go to the bother of assisting her release.

The UK prison service would do as it was commanded to do by government agencies.

I don't think the government would have released her, I mean how would it benefit them? It would be a nightmare to pull off and the public outcry would be unbelievable. I don't believe it for a minute

I can't for the life of me see WHY they would let her out. It doesn't make sense.

@@vivienwilliams1538 because she technically had served her time (in the laws eyes) but couldn’t release her due to public backlash

I think the nurse had a similar look and after years of being associated looking like Myra it was enough hence her reaction!

I've often wondered about this with other people, and also, in some cases if someone actually went in prison. For example, that Floyd George case where the policeman is convicted. They couldn't have a verdict other than guilty, but if the establishment couldn't cover up the crime they could 'pretend' that he was in prison.( Of course that is just a thought. If the police etc. wanted to infiltrate criminal operations, an undercover agent may have to go through the process of conviction and imprisonment to provide a realistic cover, without serving the sentence !)

There were.only 4 bearers in my grandfathers funeral and he was 16 stone. Also only 4 on my uncles funeral too, so I know for a fact that there can be just 4 pall bearers. But I do think she could of been released

irony would be is that she would be safer in prison and if they let her out would have to looking over her shoulder all the time because of the slight chance they would learn its her and she would be hunted. the only way would be that she would be dumped in Australia or somewhere in the eu under a new name in the hope they would not know who she really is. my money is she died back then because of the above reason.

I have always felt sorry for Ruth Ellis whom I believe should have been given a life sentence and for cruel twist of fate it was abolished within months of her death I believe the it goes against instinct for adults but especially women ( I believe that she indulged Brady in some fantasy that he might have shared and took it to extreme to make him stay with her) to hurt let alone kill or watch children be sexually assaulted and killed I can believe that she was released because of her supporters and that Longford was a well connected wrong one

Wrong! Ellis was just as deserving of the gallows as anyone else. In terms of crimes against children, it's more likely for a woman to be the guilty party than the father.

I was thinking the same about Ruth Ellis, a mother of 2 young children hanged for shooting her violent and abusive boyfriend. She should have been given a prison sentence.
