Boyoz and Bomba are both traditional street foods of Izmir. Generally you can find great places for them when you walk arround Karşıyaka, Konak, Bornova and Bostanlı😊✈😉

Aha! I see what you two have been up to! Having too much fun with those Izmir Bombas. You're hilarious Justina. Lol! I agree, the original and the white chocolate seem to be the best of the four. And that mysterious vegetable is a Bitter melon squash. Very nutritious, but bitter. Hahaha! Take care ladies, see you in the next one. 👋😎 Oh yes, your video thumbnail cover cracks me up. 🤣

Is Izmir more modern than Antalya? Many people say that Izmir is more modern and the people are also modern and classy. In the Antalya region, you have a kind of village mentality.
2 жыл бұрын
Antalya is a really modern city with a population of over 4.5 million people, however Izmir is the 3rd largest city after Istanbul and Ankara with a population over 4.2 million. Izmir is really urbanized with multiple universities from medicine to engineering and offers great places to visit too. Antlaya has amazing beaches and natural wonders faving the Meditranean😊✈😃

@@BeerForBreakfast If u come in summer u can visit me in Çeşme. Çeşme is beautiful, but 30 years agoit was 1000x better than now. It was less people less buildings, like a small fishers town. By the way: If u r in Çeşme, go to Dalyan Köy (4km north). There are a lot of good restaurants but one is my favorite. It has also won prices for best fish restaurant. Go and order sea bass (levrek), plus calamari, fried mussels with garlic sauce, shrimps fried in garlic butter and try also other kind of different mezes (tapas). Say hello from me (Elder Alp from Berlin ;). The younger Alp is our neighbour's son (we know each other for 30 years, and he lives in Dalyan and actually he recommended this restaurant to me :) ) Dalyan Köy is/was a small fisher village, it became bigger in the past 30 years, and has got also a marina with lot of yachts now. Dalyan Köy has also some bays and beaches u can visit. If u are in the İzmir/Çeşme area u must eat Kumru. İts a toast in a special ovalish sesame bread eather with grilled sucuk, salami, saussage, cheese or with everything (called Yengen), plus tomato pickled gurkens, ketchup and mayonese. Best place to get Kumru is in Dalyan Köy @ Kumrucu Hüsnü. Go there say 'hello' from me and taste something next level. Ask him also for pickled chili aside if u like hot. If u are in Alaçatı (also very beautiful place) go to Kumrucu Hikmet, say also 'hello' from me to Hikmet. Maybe he wont remember me. Long time we havent met, but I think he will remember me. What u can also do in Çeşme is o taste sakızlı dondurma (ice cream with mastic). This regions speciality is mastik (sakız) and if u get somewhere original not flavored turkish chewing gum it has also the aroma of this mastic. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistacia_lentiscus) And they also makes jam from mastic u can buy for home if u like it. If u wanna eat filled mussels Çeşme iz da place yo! Compared to filled mussels in Istanbul these are really delicious and more tasty. Try it and u will agree. But ask some local vendors in the shopping area, so they will show u the beast places to get the best mussels. If u are in Çeşme go to Ilıca to Dost Pide to eat good Pide and ask them if u can get Manisa kebap. Across Dostpide There was a restaurant they made Manisa Kebap. Maybe they are still there Idk. So thats it ladies. If something else drops in my mind ı will write here ;) Enjoy Çeşme

Girls. you are great. We love youuuu... While you are in Izmir, you should definitely try "Izmir usulü kokoreç". You didn't like the one in Istanbul, but they do it differently in Izmir. Also, don't forget to try "Tire köfte" and "kumru sandviç". :))
