My 2010 TSX is a super comfortable daily, but coming from a 9th gen Si and an RSX, its a boat. It isn't amazing on gas, but it has a huge tank. I'm going for an ILX when this dies on me. It will have some of the nice interior stuff the TSX has but more of the 9th gen spirit that I miss

I have a 2012 Special Edition. I bought it new in 2012. Since I purchased it, I have given it every maintenance requirement it needed and aside from the drivers door, all the other doors open and close like a new car sounds when you open and close them. I have kept it stock except for the radio where I upgraded to a radio that allows me to have a Carplay and a backup camera. I was going to sell it but its such a great car and I just got to 130K on it. It will be staying in my garage even if when I buy a new car. Its such a fun car.

I got my permit a little less than a year ago and I've been learning how to drive in my mom's 2nd gen TSX and it's amazing. Out of the other few cars I've driven so far, the TSX has to be my favourite to drive. Something about the steering and pedal stiffness is just perfect to me and I couldn't imagine learning how to drive in a different car. And it's great for freeway driving for this reason. It can put some good power down if you need to pass someone, yet it can also cruise comfortably if you want to. And the steering isn't too loose or tight to make you nervous around a tight freeway bend. It's truly a beautiful car and I hope to be able to buy a Sport Wagon TSX someday. But looking at car prices nowadays, I'm sadly not sure how I'll do that...

That car is way better with the six speed manual, hell all cars are better with a manual transmission. I have three seventh gen Accords with the K24A and 5 sp manual transmissions. With almost a million miles between them they still run and drive excellent. I would love to step up to a RSX though, but it has to have a manual transmission. Great video, very informative, thanks a lot.

I got my '14 Tech with 52k miles a couple years ago. It's not eye candy but it gets the job done. Vtech sounds great and yes it should be accelerating faster than it does. I'm not looking to turn heads, break the bank or the traffic laws. Just want to keep it as modern-looking as possible. I mounted a tilting droid tablet covering the stock nav screen and connected bluetooth with hotspot from my phone for music but I have to tilt the tablet downward to see the backup cam feed. Replaced the 4 stock 6.5s and installed a single 12" 800watt ported sub in the truck. (perfect fit). covered the trunk lid and spare tire well with sound deadening for the rattle and road noise (long trips are louder than it should be). I will start working on paint color correction, window tint, and LEDs before the summer hits. There is a Mic problem so controlling it by voice has been a pain. I replaced the center armrest leather and I'll be replacing all the pesky soft plastic door panel parks that scratch so easily. Don't close the door with the long handle, use the hand insert instead, and don't pull too hard. Other than that, it's definitely made to zip around the city. Premium only gas is a minus. Be if careful buying used
@OpticalAutomotive

Just from personal experience, I've only ever put regular gas in and it's always been just fine. And I think the Bluetooth voice in all the TSXs isn't great and a bit unreliable. Leather has held up well but those handles on the doors not so much...

I've been under the impression that TSX stood for Technology - Sport - Experimental for what it's worth. The reviewer seems pretty upset that the interior isn't as luxurious as he expected, so perhaps a model with an L in the name is what he wants. I've never thought my TSX Wagon had a lot of road noise. Perhaps it's a matter of tires.

I picked up my 2013 last year around this time. Had 109k on it and now 124k. Just did a decent amount of preventative maintenance. Made me love it even more. Now I need the wagon. The one thing I hate...the interior door handles scratch sooo damned easily (the handles to pull the door closed). I also picked mine in NJ and there's ONE rust spot.. the latch on the hood. Only things I have done is a serge bo tune amd exhaust. The tune is my favorite part. Thats it so far. The car seems sluggish because the gears are long in the automatic and falls out of vtec in stock form with every shift. (Tune it you'll notice a difference)

Acura cut back on a lot of things to get prices down starting in the 2009 line up. Keep in mind this was when the 2008 housing collapse happened so there was less money to go around. Everyone was financially struggling so people had less to spend on cars. Acura pulled a Nissan and cheaped out on everything for the 2009 TSX. The true VTEC on the intake and exhaust on the 2008 TSX? Gone. The forged aluminum RRC manifold in the 2008 TSX? Gone, it's just plastic in the 2009. High feedback hydraulic steering in the 2008? Gone. There's so many more things I can list. This is the reason I got a 1st gen TSX and not the 2nd gen. I even test drove a 2014 TSX to do a fair comparison and not just rely on rumours or bias.
