Enoch is not inspired, but a book doesn't have to be inspired to be important. Biblical writers read lots of books, they quote from lots of sources. Why shouldn't we read something that Peter or Jude read so that we can become more intelligent readers of Peter and Jude? So we say to our people; "don't look at Genesis 6 as supernatural. Don't dip into these resources that would actually help you read your New Testament in context. Don't do that." And of course, you're going to get to 1 Peter 3 and have no idea what to do with it.
