A couple of years ago I watched it on YT, and someone in the comments said his girlfriend had tickets but he didn’t feel like driving all the way from, I think, San Antonio, to Colorado. Then he said “What a dumb___!” Lol. There’s nothing like some self-deprecating humor.

@@Jeffro5564 their album iTunes gave away for free did untold damage. It still plays uninvited when people turn on their cars and Bluetooth gets connected. Beyond annoying. Their earlier albums are very good in my opinion. I don’t think they are crap, but they would be better off not releasing albums unless they have a good idea whether they will be well-received. Quality is a subjective thing, so it’s fine to think they’re crap, but a lot of people would disagree.

In the 80s, my sister used to describe U2'S music as it all sounding like the same song, and although I love U2, I agreed. Then they released Achtung Baby in 91 and blew the doors off of their "old" stuff with a killer new sound. Been a die-hard fan since.✌🎋

Well, at the end of the day how many great bands, groups, acts hail from Europe as a whole? Neither can I 🤔 Of course, The UK far more! England the most, then Ireland (what incredible memorable band comes from Wales?) I just watched the U2 concert in & for Ukraine (AIDS, not the current situation) from a few years ago; the audience of 350K, yep, 350K😮😮😮 sang the lyrics perfectly, as if English was their native tongue - throughout, it was obvious the mutual admiration and respect showing how powerful a bond music creates, beyond politics and borders.
