Hey can I use the rinse to drain out the water from a comforter blanket? I have an ancient washing machine and have refused to upgrade it but it never had like a drying option imo, I think most washers nowadays have dryer in one.. so sometimes blankets etc are really wet after the was cycle.. is rinse (or just spin option, i also have drain option??) safe and could it help drain the excess water?

I have tried to wash better with the use of industrial washers. I remember that you explained in one video that pre washing was good, but I never bothers to put soap in the main wash cycles since I would be out afterwards. The one thing that I always question, you can please let me know your take or opinion, but I would hear from people that a cap full of detergent is too much for a load, but anything less my clothes wouldn’t come out smelling good. Do you also use a cap full of laundry soap per load or do you use more or less?

Hello Patreatzya! It is great to hear from you again :D As for your question: I'd say it depends a lot on what you are washing. If you are doing a large load with dirty clothes, then the measurement in the cap would be appropriate for a long program. Think a full cotton program, or a heavy duty program. If you're doing a smaller or shorter program, I'd personally start reducing the amount of detergent used so you don't end up with residue on the clothes. If you do end up with residue on them, you could always add an extra rinse cycle to the end of your washers program, and cut down on detergent the next time. I am a big fan of pre treating stains before tossing them into the washer. If you try it, you should be able to skip the prewash entirely and go directly for a regular wash cycle. Perhaps if you're at a laundromat you can spot treat the stained garments, toss them into the washer directly, and use prewash without adding any additional product to have the stain treatment washed out. I'd say you should always use detergent in the middle (marked II or 2) slot in the tray as that is the main part of the wash. You're better off skipping adding anything to the prewash instead. Also some of your favorite fabric softener in the third slot (III or 3) can add some wonderful smell if you really want to have some nice smell on the clothes. Let me know if this was unclear, I'd be happy to elaborate more. Best Regards, Tor

@@Organizing-TV Sorry I haven’t been around the past months, but so am back :), yes you were very clear and so clear that because they aren’t the washers I use to use at home I never even bother to look at the cycles lol except to make sure the water is cold, hot only for whites. I know that one of these days I need to pick up a washer to not deal with the laundromats, being at laundromats are such a headache. Last week I washed a family members clothing that they no longer wanted. Instead of washing it separately, my clothes came out smelling from the odor they had so I took their stuff off the second time and well, I put 3 cap fulls of detergent in the pre-wash, and the the main wash I put 2 not to mention the fabric softeners in both pre wash and the main wash, and while it normalized everything, the clothes had a residue feeling to them lol. I told my daughter to remind me never to wash other peoples stuff with ours again even if it’s a family member lol. That was a huge regret. One of these days I will be a pro after watching your videos on washing clothes. Thanks for the informative videos.

@@Patreatzya Sorry for the slow reply! We had a large family gathering this weekend. Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. That must be so annoying. If you used that much detergent, it makes sense that your garments felt like they had a bit of detergent residue! Haha. You could always just put them through some rinses to get out the excess detergent. As a side note, you should generally not mix the detergent and the fabric softener together in the same tray as they don't interact better together. It's better to add the fabric softener in it's own tray, or to skip it.

hey, if the washers time is too long and I want it to rinse it faster can I just stop it mid cycle and use the rinse and spin??
@cup1dcak3

Why is the spin necessary on washing machine?
@Organizing-TV

It removes a lot of the liquid from the garments :)

how do i dry clothes using the machine? what exactly is rinse and spin for exactly?
@Organizing-TV
10 ай бұрын
Rinse and spin is to rinse out the clothes with water and then spin them to remove a lot of the moisture. If you have a spin only setting on the washer then that can be used to just remove moisture. You would however have to dry it further as it doesn’t get all the water out.

It sounds like the washer is unbalanced if it starts shaking toward the end when it is spinning. It may help making sure the load inside is well balanced, but you probably need to call a technician to fix it
