Well done. You have developed a tested process here. I've just had an Indesit unit throw a belt. The unit was 'condemned' and I read they had a sealed drum which is what brought me to your video. How long to you expect to get out of a repaired unit based on your experiences

Hi Karter, I have done a few of these, the first one I kept for two years before I sold it on as we had already brought a new machine when it broke down, so now we had two. The buyer was told it was repaired (sold it cheap) and never got back to us regarding any issues. This was about five years ago.

I brought a basic zanussi 14 years ago from John Lewis, still going strong even with tenant abuse!

Zanussis can take a beating. My one has gone through a lot. Had a point of constantly tripping the rcd and all that. Seams to now be fixed with only minor damage to the bearings

@@danandlaundry yes I read that somewhere. I do also have a Samsung Washer Dryer which does not have the Fluff issue, Replaced the Spider three years ago but now the Bearings are a bit noisy.

@@green-crocs-fixes1520 my zanussi washer dryer isn’t too bad for dryer fluff though it was a bit fluffy when it was my grandmas but her new one has a bunch of fluff inside it (my grandmas is like the one in this video and mine is a zwt71401wa)
