I roughly copied your design minus the electronic controls, burning wood instead of oil, works great, gonna use it for my off grid hot tub. Thanks for the inspiration.

Fantastic! I’d love to see some pictures or a video of your build. So far I have used oil and propane to heat water and it does well. I’m interested to see if my small combustion chamber could work with wood.

Try putting a cup or bowl over your inlet to focus the air downward towards your flame, a lot of your inlet air will be going directly upward.

Interesting idea, I’ll give it a shot. My only concern is more heat being directed towards the side of the combustion chamber, already have more than enough 😂.

You possibly will, hehe, but the fuel/air ratio should improve dramatically, and potentially you would not require forced air. I was thinking a small stainless steel dog/puppy feeding bowl, great videos!!! @@rad1876
