I worked with a big Textile company in Belarus in early 90's. They were very successful and one day the Director of this factory got a visit from the local leader of the state farms (kolhose) and was asked to give money to him and his farmers organisation. The Textile Director replied no, as he knew how corrupt this organisation was. 2 years later this Leader of Farmers became President and the Director of the textile factory was put to jail for 10 years. This is a true story and very telling on how this guy operates.

Such nonsense, as you wrote, can only be eaten by Americans who are absolutely not interested in how the world works around them. It takes a lot of disrespect for America and Americans to write for them as if they were idiots. “50 countries fighting against Russia” yeah it’s different when they send a fraction of their weapons compared to actually fighting those countries. If it was an actual force on force Russia wouldn’t last long and would resort to nukes. That is a sign of a weak military.

@@vincentsebina7182 The military aid to Ukraine is actually very very limited. Ukraine is currently fighting against the greatest evil of our time. Ukraine fights for the west, for freedom, for democracy, while the west only sends in as much help as is necessary for Ukraine not to lose, but not enough to win. Why would the west do that is beyond me. Unfortunately the west is currently run by very weak, cowardly politicians. Putin only understands the language of brutal force. He’s a thug.

For who? He seems to have forgotten - or - intentionally didn't acknowledge that his friend made an unprovoked attack on another country with some "made up excuse" about ferreting out Nazis. I wish the reporter had asked him if Putin decided to do the same to HIS country would that be okay with him. He "claims" Putin has extended solutions to Ukraine but the obvious solution is for Putin is to get his murderous soldiers out of Ukraine who he uses as cannon fodder and cares less about than Ukraine.

The only talk that should be going on is how an invader should stop invading another country. This conversation was so illogical on one side in that this guy totally ignores "the fact" that his pal, Putin, invaded another country on some made up idiotic excuse and he thinks the invaded country need to grovel to the invader. Would have loved if the reporter to ask him how he would feel if Putin decided to invade his country to ferret out Nazis and destroyed it in the process.
@Kvalme1990
Жыл бұрын
It's very naive to think that we are at a point where peace talks are even close to being a reality. Right now, Putin is loosing ground in Ukraine, and fast. In peace talks, you don't want to seem weak and be in a loosing position. Putin would not settle for gaining nothing of Ukraine's territory in a deal, and Ukraine is probably not willing to give up any territory neither. If you look at the Vietnam war, they started talking about peace talks, but it wouldn't be a reality before at least 4 years later. Both sides in that conflict thought they were winning, and they couldn't come to an agreement.
