Don’t let nobody deceive you . Listen to this advice and make a wise decision because age will catch up with you and you will remember this advice. God knows the reason why he created you a Ghanaian.

This has nothing to do with God creating you as a Ghanaian, if you don't plan well and want to depend on only your retirement income then you will be saying things like this, if you invest in RSP,s Mutual Funds, Bonds, GIC, just to name a few, you should be able to retire and live comfortably in which ever country you are and not necessary move to that Banana Republic called Ghana.

It is still good to invest in Ghana regardless because we all know that you can't live on your social security income alone in the USA. Thanks for sharing your experience with the youth as you rightly said

Great advice Opanin, but abroad isn't that crazy as some people claim. Their struggle is due to trying to provide for the extended family in Ghana. Period 😎

kwaku the man has spoken very wisely and i completely agree with him at least if you cannot build to rent out please build a comfortable zone where you can rest your head and move to Ghana as soon you hit the pension age and enjoy your retirement money from Ghana. Lets All Be Vigilant and stop wasting monies on things we don't need, kwaku someone will argue it will depend on your monthly income but if you earn high much money at your pension age it will be more better to stay in Ghana and enjoy that funds than to stay here because it will never be enough

This is even happening to the abrofo here(Canada). Most of them work past their retirement age because the cost of living is so high. My mom retired and moved to Ghana permanently, and her pension is more than enough in Ghana 😂

Immigrants should invest in their new country of residence (USA, Europe).for retirement I'm 69 yrs young. I own 4 multi family rental properties, in the USA ALL paid off I don't touch my pension , it goes straight into my bank account.

Bro, it all depends on how much you contributed and your income. Probably your income is small. It is better than none. You have to plan well.

Massa, stop all the bluff? What the guy is saying is the exact truth. Very few Africans can make it pass Cdn$ 2000 a month for their pension and the rent for a single room in Canada now is Cdn$ 1000. So what this guy is saying about not relying only on pension money for survival is 💯 correct.

I am 40 years, lived in America since 2011, the last time I checked my my pension, I was going to get $2600 per month if I retire early ie 62 years, I was also going to make $3150 a month if I retire at age 67 years provided I maintain that same income until I retire. So it all depends on how much money you make yearly. So he probably was a lower income person. We are not working for the system but rather working for our own selves. Could you imagine Ghana government paying pensions to foreign nationals in China, India, Lebanon? These white people have given us privilege to to live , work and enjoy all the social benefits. Do you think it’s easy to set up business in Ghana? , how much money would you make if you own apartment in Ghana especially in Kumasi? 😂😂😂. That is not to say we should not build income properties in Ghana but don’t let it seem as if it is easy.
