The message is to 'Reuse and Repurpose'. Thank you lady, when most of us are able to purchase the plane, have it cut up, ship it, then hire helicopters that charge $18,000 per hour to fly it to the site where the architect and the construction crew is ready to build us a 5,000 square foot house in the hills of Malibu we will keep that in mind. Should have had an original 747-100 winding staircase for the stairs. That would have been cool.

How much does it cost to move all that? And all the fuel??? Is it environmentally friendly when you factor in all the resources to move it? Idk.

What's the point of reusing/repurposing when you burned so much gas by transporting your materials using a helicopter?

Re-use re-purpose???? How much more was spent on fuel to move everything from the boneyard to her estate building site????? Just more empty but fun virtue signalling. If only all of us had the money to "recycle" like that. BTW I specialize in sarcasm.

That’s fascinating. We don’t have houses like that over here in England. I’ve seen planes at the airport. I’ve seen them in the air. I’ve even flown on my share of planes. But the one place I’ve never seen them is being used for housing. How exactly is one supposed to get planning permission for that? No council or other relevant authority I know of would likely entertain the idea.

The fuselage of the 747 Dreamlifter would make a great indoor singles tennis court. Provided you don't hit too high a lobs. You could easily play a hybrid racket ball/ tennis game and use the sidewalls and ceiling as well
