Mike, thanks for taking the time to review our TYPE-15. I'm glad you let everyone see the good and the bad in your videos. When people know your reviews are not bought and paid for, like some many other reviews, it truly adds a lot of weight to what you are doing. Thanks for also pointing out our corrective action...as we are building the next great American firearms company, my team will either build it 100% correct every time or go find work somewhere else.

Just fyi to what I’m seeing on pricing, the ones I can find online for around 1K$ are the type 15 M version, which is forged not billet, no muzzle break, nitride bolt instead of PVD, etc. The video model, Type 15 is more like 1500-1700$, but finding these in stock anywhere besides Watchtower’s website does not appear easy. Great looking rifle and review, and love your videos, keep it up!!

As far as Castle nuts and endplates go I know people will think im crazy but for every AR I built I go with the strike industries multi function end plate and anti ritation castle nut, for people not familiar with it it uses grooves cut into the castle nut and a set screw that keeps it from rotating. Its for me better than staking the castle nut plus the end plate has a qd and two different sling loops on each side and its reversible.

Definitely a yes for me also. I think all new ARs should come with a QD back plate and staked castle nut (if PSA can do it so should everyone). I also think all barrels should be at least dimpled. I have had to take many ARs apart to bring them up to what I feel should be standard. My wife and I run a business in Tucson and no one wants to work and the ones that do want to do the least they can to collect a check with no pride in their work. So keeping the 80s theme my vote is she's a maniac from flash dance for the spec song. 🤣🤣

I think what your asking about from 9:00 - 10:00 is the difference between a Job versus a Career. I am guilty in that I've gone into an employment thinking it would be a career and it wasn't as sold and turned into a job. However, despite being 36, I can't not be a workaholic or a people pleaser. 9:45: pay isnt great, usually not much verticality. If there is verticality, promotions may be based more so on seniority than quality and output ratings and you get caught up with a lazy manager in QC or something of that effect. It can make your passion run thin if you're barely scraping by and it starts to feel like a dead-end role; if this is happening to anyone reading this it's best to part ways and not let quality dip - it's not personal, it's just not a mutual fit anymore and you should do what's best for you and take a career that pays more. Give that honest feedback in an exit interview, maybe they'll match your offered compensation. Either way, hunt compensation in 2024.

Not too get too political, but it's really hard to blame people for not caring and having pride in their work anymore. We have families that have household incomes of $150k who are living paycheck to paycheck. I personally believe the cream always rises to the top, sooner or later. But when i am honest with myself about it, i dont blame the majority of folks - work your life away for what to never be able to have any breathing room? Maybe if we quit monetizing the fed reserve and quit sending billions to other countries and other people, rhe people here would be more invested in their jobs again

@@TacticalConsiderations very true! Two things are facts for sure - people do overspend more these days than in the past and we have continued to print fake money and send money elsewhere. I agree with you. My opinion is the instant gratification lifestyle was sped up drastically because we aren't independent anymore. The system has made it almost impossible to be now. I'm grateful I had good parents and role models to show me the way. Most people my age will never know what it's like to be debt free, they will carry the burdens until they leave this earth. And it will only get worse the more we allow this to go on. Our forefathers are rolling in their graves that we have allowed this crap to happen up to this point.
