So my pond is In it's 8th week of cycling and still not fully cycle yet. I got ammonia, more nitrite and some nitrate now. How many weeks total did it take for you? If you were to test the water now, do you have any ammonia and nitrite?

When I first set my pond up in March 2019, I was showing nitrites for several months, well into the summer. In my experience it takes a long time for nitrite-consuming bacteria to get established in koi ponds, much longer than your average aquarium. Ammonia took about 6 weeks. Once established ammonia and nitrites should be 0 unless you're under-filtered. Also make sure your have adequate KH levels as this is critical for establishing bacterial colonies.

@@KoiAquaponics it always stayed fairly clear but I did deal with a lot of string algae the first year.
