Tim, thank you for just being you. You are truly a gift to your viewers. You have given me many hours of joy watching your adventures. Many people have never seen these animals in a natural setting. It’s fascinating!!! Thank you, thank you, for bringing the secrets of the natural world to our homes. I can’t get out and explore anymore, but I walk with you, and smile at your courageous spirit! You are doing a great service by sharing with us. My woods prayer for you: May the BIG GUY keep ya safe, and healthy! 🦋 May the mosquitos find you disgusting. May camera thieves trip, and break a leg. May the bears, and big cats call you a friend. May the sun shine to keep you warm, and the wind blow to keep you cool. May your feet stay dry… and your path to every camera be clear. Happy trails to you!

Folks, Tim Harrell is very well aware of the ecological balance in his neck of the woods. Personally, I'd be just as worried by a car or truck running over that little fella as a hawk getting him. The snake lives for another day, thanks to Tim.

I’ve had cottonmouths aggressively come after me unprovoked from 20’ and around 10’ away. One of us had to take the other out or die. This isn’t the snake writing this comment. I’ll take 2 timber rattlers over 1 cottonmouth every time.

Love you videos … where are your shoes ?!? That cottonmouth must have just eaten something or he would have come after you. They are very fast. This is not normal behavior for these snakes
@Jerry4usall
2 жыл бұрын
Normal behavior. They want nothing to do with anything that they can't eat. They will retreat if given a chance. Otherwise, they coil up and hope that you'll go away. They only way you'll ever get bitten by a cottonmouth is if you should step on one or may put your hand on one. Just the facts.......

Very undereducated comments saying let the hawk have him. Hawks here in the pacific nw are a real problem in my wooded neighborhood. They'll take your cat or little dog right in front of you and you'll hear your pet screaming as they do it. It's a real horror and then you can travel miles looking for your cat's carcass. Hawks are brutal. When I water at night they drop dead squirrels all over my property right in front of me. They've killed them for sport and don't eat them. Brutal killers for fun.
