I had this recommended last summer by a guy who used it for a few years, then I came across your review. I especially like the option to replace the bladder. How many bladders did you go through over the years and why did you swap them? Damage or taste or ...?

Can definitely see the pros and cons of this product, but overall, for what it does, the benefits outweigh the negatives, so its a worth while investment indeed! I stumbled upon your channel when searching for a review, so glad I did, started watching your other videos too, makes me want to travel back to Europe again. Keep up the great work mate, its inspiring. Cheers from Queensland Australia 😁

I don't know if I mentioned it, but it has a really nice flow 😂😂😂 I'm trying to decide my water carrier for car camping.. I was thinking I could use this with some powerful magnetic hooks or even tying it to the roofbar.. but maybe a traditional collapsible is easier? what do you think?
@OutdoorVisuals

If you have the room and the carrier is not getting stressed too much, then the pack tap would maybe be to expensive. But if you are gonna tie it up, then my experience with the traditional containers is that they come with poor mounting options. And the pack tap has great options for hanging 😊

Cool review, thanks! You could hang it upside down to get it completely dry, that's what I do with my bladders. And if they begin to smell a little bit I wash them out with warm water and a small squeeze of lemon juice, seems to work well 😁

Thank you 😊 Yeah that's also kind of what I'm doing. Didn't know about the lemon juice though 😅👍

I tried it upside down, man, the blood ran to my head, and the lemon juice made my eyes water, ......oh, wait!, .....THAT bladder, not MY bladder........ 😊😃🙂

You are welcome 😁 I just fill it with water and dish soap. Then I take out the bladder from the nylon, fill it with air and hang it to dry

I don't separate it from the cover. But there's a zipper on the side that opens up in to the bladder. Then I just drag it out from there.

I bought 2 of these in the 3L size for backpacking and I do not like them at all. I packed them up for a trip and when I was getting ready to leave the next morning, both of them had leaked, soaking my sleeping system and packs. It was a pretty devastating way to start a trip. I had to use other gear that was not right for the trip. Because of that, I have never nor will I ever use them again. Gear you cannot count on is as good as trash. I would not recommend buying these at all.

Did you get the mouthpiece thingie completely back? It's finicky to remove and put back i think, but mine has never leaked when completely put back on.
