I just installed one with the rail for a small 28 deck for my sun. It works so well that I am jealous. And I have a YOW and a YOW with Carver Cx. Very loose and heavy Lean

Oh shit! I just saw my 43" Byron Bay Coconut rust. I put waterborne on it and go long trips with it.

Ask your doctor today if the waterborne adapter is right for you. Can cause absolute fun. Use at your own discretion.

Hi, may i ask what deck are you use?

You bet. The deck is from Skateshred Distribution. They sell blank decks as well as all other skateboard parts. This board is their Split tail deck, 32" x 9.5", 7 Ply Canadian Maple, with 18.5" wheel base. I've tried the Waterbourne adapter on a few of my boards, longer and shorter than this one but I find I've found the best length for pumping is around 32" long and 18" wheel base. I'm also using Paris V3 Reverse King Pin 180 mm Trucks which I'm quite impressed with as well.

So I got a question is the waterborn surfskate adapter good for traveling/cruising since my pushing legs been getting really sore now and I'm wondering if getting the adapter would help ease the movenent on that one leg only

Surfskates do cut down on pushing because you can pump to move forward. I wouldn't use my Surfskate to try and cover long distances because pumping does require a fair bit of energy. For longer distances I prefer a drop down board.

Long distance on a surfskate is very hard. I use a carver cx with YOW la Santa deck for that which comes nearer to a Longboard. But everything 5 km plus I take my Rayne Demonseed with big Orangatang Wheels. Drop down makes it very easy to push and length matters on distance rollin

You need to take a break for a while and wait for your pushing leg to recover. The trauma you got is a common problem when your push technique is incorrect

My back foot doesn’t do much. Almost all motion is front foot, arms, and torso. I can pump long distance, an hour, easily but only with short, mild uphills. I find pushing easier for uphills. The terrain determines the board.

Oh, I use surf and rail adapter on a 30” fishtail. I think it’s harder to pump without the rail adapter. It’s a zero degree angle with lean to match the surf adapter. You can probably dewedge the back truck but the only reason to do that that I can think of is economy. Or to fit a non traditional deck shape.
