This antique Waterbury clock was not running when I purchased it. It had not been serviced in so many years that the oil had turned to varnish. Even after removing the escapement wheel, nothing moved. As I took parts off for cleaning, I finally got the time and strike sides to move so that I could study the action of the gears and levers before I broke it down completely. In this video I discuss the clock movement action and cleaning process. This round movement is in several Waterbury models.
