Adding magic green turned the whole painting around for me. When all the circles were pretty0 much the same colour the band of them seemed to be sitting on top of the rest of the painting. Adding magic green to the circles and to some of the dots below it tied it all together and the circles became a very strong focal paint. Very imaginative design.

Hi Gabrielle 👋 Were you talking to me the whole time? 😉 It seems like you were! 😊 What you were saying definitely spoke to me. When I am in my craft room I am totally in that zone you were talking about. All of my cares get out of my head, I always enjoy the process, and I always learn something! It's just pure joy! 🎉 I absolutely love it when you add that texture with the watercolor ground, it looks amazing! The possibilities are endless aren't they? The focal point of the painting is wonderful, I have a thing for circles too! What did you think about those really cool marks the salt made?! Wowza! 😲 I love the way this painting turned out! Do you frame or display much of your artwork? I'm happy you're able to have thicker skin on social media. I could never ever do it! When I see a person making unkind remarks, or giving unsolicited opinions/criticism, on YOUR FREE channel, I really want to give them a piece of my mind! 😡 I use restraint and I don't! 🤐 If I leave a comment, I want it to be uplifting for the person sharing with us. So dear friend, thank you for sharing all of your wonderful videos with us! We've all learned so much from you, you are so sweet, and we enjoy the journey you take us on each week! 🎨 🖌 😊🫶 I hope you had a nice long weekend and that you enjoy the week ahead! I don't know about you, but all of this rain is making my head and body hurt so much more than usual, I hope it hasn't affected you that way. 🙏 Love and hugs friend! 💗🤗💞

Hi Lori 💕🤗 Hahaha! I'm sure I was talking to you (in my head anyway) at least some of the time 😉😁 I usually am pretty sure you get whatever it is I'm sharing and I definitely know you are likely to be oohing and aawing with me when my iridescent paints make an appearance 🤩 ✨ How fun it is to get excited about the little things and to know that someone else out there can get excited about them too. You are no doubt a kindred spirit sweet friend ❤️ Working with WC ground has just been so much fun! I love texture about as much as I love my iridescent paints (and you know how much I love them 😂😉😉). And the effects created by salt!! 🤩 I mean really!! How beautiful!! It reminds me a little bit of tie dyed fabrics (something I've never tried, but I'm always impressed when I see what people can do with it). I do frame some of my artwork and hang it. I love to give my paintings as gifts sometimes too. But, it's time for me to get my website up because I've got way more artwork than my walls can handle. 😂 I can't tell you in simple words just exactly how much I appreciate you and others having my back here! ❤️💕❤️Honestly, the not so nice comments do get to me, but thankfully they are rare. And I have so many guardian angels looking out for me that it makes it much easier for me to feel gratitude and love than anything else. (Plus Damien is happy to listen to me vent when I need to or hold me if I need to let a few tears flow. ❤️) Like you, I prefer to be as kind and uplifting as possible. There is already far too much negativity and false information propagated on social media. I want my channel to be a place where people can get a break from all that. I really believe the more love and kindness we offer each other, the more easily it spreads and helps to heal the world. I know what I do is not rocket science, but it is meaningful to many people and that's what keeps me going. Thank you again so much for being the kind and supportive friend you are. 💕🤗 The rain... Is that why every joint in my body seems to be screaming at me? 😳 Of course that could be it! I usually prefer to blame perimenopause 🤣🤪 I'm sorry you're experiencing that too! 😔 Hopefully the sun comes out for you and brings us all a welcomed break from the aches and pains for at least a little while. 🙏🏿✨ Sending lots of love your way sweet friend 💕🤗

Thank you so much for sticking this out with me! ❤️🤗 Most artists will tell you that almost every painting, if not every painting, has an ugly stage. I think it's probably essential because when we stick to it and find ways to get over that hump, we have that much more appreciation for the end result. I also think it's as important to know what you don't like as it is to know what you do like. So when it gets ugly, ask yourself what it is you don't like about it and then ask yourself what could help make it better for you. Most importantly, stick to it because you will learn some valuable information no matter how it turns out and eventually, you'll figure out how to make it better for yourself. Artwork can always be transformed - the transformation is often just a few brush strokes away. ☺️ Thank you for making the time to connect with me on this! 💕

@@millydaisy29 I think it really depends on just how thick your textures are. Some of my textured paintings fit fine in a normal frame as long as they sit under a mat. Other of my textured paintings would probably do better in a shadow box type of frame. I would still add a mat, but I guess it really depends on the look you are going for. We just framed a painting we received from our niece in a shadow box, without a mat, and it looks really lovely. I hope this helps! Thank you for making the time to connect with me ❤🤗
