I am enjoying your channel enormously. I love your spirit and your sense of humour. (I'll bet you're a terrific Mum!) I have learned so much from you and I am gaining confidence in my book binding/making skills because of your amazing channel. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us. Love and Bless xo

I really love these. I totally get what you're saying about painting and drawing. There are people on both sides of my family who can, that's how I know I can't. But they don't make beautiful art out of folding, stamping, collaging, sewing, etc. You do. Sometimes I do also, thanks to creative artists like you.

So many of us are afraid to start because we believe our lack of skill will make for an imperfect end result. But you Just Start, and don't stop until it's beautiful. Natasa, what a beautiful ‘ugly’ thing that bouquet in the bottle! Absolutely love it. Since I am much better with computers and their virtual paint brushes and erasers than with real tools I can scan my ‘art’ and then edit the photos into something interesting and unique. The semi-transparent bottle I can make with a printout of a bottle later oiled with baby oil. Thanks for other awesome tricks -- punching hearts into bows or butterflies, splitting unsuccessful paintings in half to make two pockets or wardrobe look (with a magnet closure), etc. ♥

I concur about the "I am not a good xyz" sentiment. Having a healthy honestly about strengths and weaknesses allows us to appreciate others who do it well. There are things I can not do. Its not because I'm bad or substandard, its because theres 24 hrs in a day and I'm working on abc not xyz. I appreciate the xyz peoples ability and we're all human.

Great ideas, thanks Natasa. I think it’s fair to admit when something isn’t your strong suit. Your actually giving lots of credit to those who are very skilled in a certain area. I’m assuming I’m in the same age bracket as you, but even to this day when I tell my mom I’m not good at something, she will insist that I am. I have to go in to the same lengthy explanation as you did in this video hahaha.
