Oh my gosh Leslie these colors worked so well together and the painting was really dynamic.

This is fascinating and I am so glad that I discovered Opus, and this video. I do not think that I would have ever thought of this technique and this technique has so many possibilities. One thing about this video that I find so annoying is that you reduce the amount of time to view the end result. My Fire tablet will stop the progression of the film but it places a symbol in the middle of it. I hope you can consider this when you post future videos. An additional 60 seconds at the end would permit viewers to examine your work more thoroughly. Thank you for posting!

Very useful process. Pouring paint tends to turn out luscious graduation that you cannot obtain otherwise.

How do you pick out your reference photo? How did you edit it to show all the values and details ? How did you draw the reference photo on the paper? Could you free hand draw it or did you graphite transfer draw it onto paper? I love it your a great artist and teacher I have so many questions about the before pouring process
