I am very new to essential oil use but I am very exited to lear more how the get my home smell nice all the time. I always wondered if it would be a waist of the precious oils when you have your windows opened ?? I also wonder which would be more useful in a home: a essential oil nebulizer waterless or a diffuser ? ( cool mis or warm mist diffuser) ?

I loved this diffuser when it worked. I feel like it might be clogged or something now because I smell no oil when it is running and the oil never runs out. How can I fix it?

Dont forget to mention that it is a NEBULIZING diffuser not just the ordinary ultrasonic diffuser that the essential oil has to be diluted with water or water needs to be added for it to work.Im currently using an AMEO and really like it, tried PURE regular diffuser this afternoon and it didnt quite work as awesome as the AMEO. I just ordered that brand on ebay . Thanks for sharing

do you add straight oil or mix with water also how long does it last im looking on getting one for my car when i uber

Best is to not mix it with water, as there is also no need for it sine the nebulizer will pause every 90 seconds or so for a bit which means you will be saving on your oil anyway. How long it lasts really depends on the intensity setting you put the aroma diffuser on...there is low, medium and high...but in general one bottle will last truly MANY hours. REPLY

Think the airwick device is the same thing.

Airwick is battery powered while this one is rechargeable. I'm looking at both items, too! I got this one instead. I love it!

I've got the air wick thing and recently got a cheap nebuliser. This looks like a cordless nebuliser. I guess the Air Wick thing is kind of similar. But do we know if those can be used for essential oils? Because it's an electrical product and oils can be volatile, i'd be hesitant to chance it, but if anyone's tried it without blowing up their living room, it would be intetesting to know. So far i have only tried the nebuliser with one essential oil, petitgrain; so far i love the different quality of the oil dispersed without water. I prefer it, although changing the blend is going to be fiddly. But i am thinking of clogging because a cheap ultrasonic diffuser stopped working quickly and i am wondering if clogging could be a factor. I haven't had that happen before. Anyway, i was surprised to see the nature of the cleaning instructions elsewhere on this page, because there's nothing like that for my device. And yet a retailer selling it had issued a note of warning about clogging. (They recommended against several oils - including the same oils bundled with the device.. And said clogging is not covered by warranty.) In particular i am very surprised to see the full extent of diffusion with ethanol required. Partly because if this is actually what's necessary to keep this device clear, to the extent that it basically invariably has to be used every day to avoid several hours of ethanol diffusion, the consumer should really be aware. I think this little device looks nifty, but all that cleaning could pretty much void the convenience factor. Also not sure if ethanol vapour would be pleasant, especially if it was a matter of three hours frequently. And i suppose by contrast the Air Wick requires none that i know of. But it is still a cool concept.

Would it work to plug this diffuser into a smart outlet and have it turn on when the outlet turns on? (I'm currently using a WeMo Switch www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F7C027/)

Hi Jamie, Great question! This aroma diffuser can only be turned on by switching the on/off button and not by when the outlet turns on. Once on you can choose how long you would having it running though - 1hr, 2hr, 4hr, or continuous. Since it has a rechargeable battery you can use it while it is plugged into an outlet. In that regards it works the same as the battery of a phone. Once charged it can run up to 50 hours on a single charge. Let me know if you have any other questions. Warm regards, Andrea Lamare, Co-Founder Aennon, Inc.
