I carry this 5.11 karambit daily at work. My ziptie wave feature does not work very well, so I may need to try this. What tools did you use to achieve this?

BennyCFD It's a traditional southeast-asian weapon, possibly descended from an agricultural harvesting tool. Details vary depending on the exact knife style and martial art, but basically it gives you a claw, which is generally used to strike at tendons and arteries in the limbs and throat. It's shape and method of employment make it easier for a very small knife to be an effective weapon; Hooked blades can have amazing cutting power on a slash. The finger ring on ones like this make it easier to retain in the hand.

Lazy Lizard Gear Looping back to it's origins, don't underestimate blades like this as practical tools either. The western equivalent of this is the hawkbill, which i have more experience with. They rock. If you want to cut tough stuff with little effort it's hard to do better.
