August is a special time here in Scotland, if the weather gods play ball. Bright blue skies, turquoise seas, pumping waves and empty line ups. If everything lines up, this is sometimes how Scotland delivers. With a decent looking forecast I rolled the dice and headed to Scotland's far North Coast. Nights of heavy rain or strong, violent winds to rock me to sleep in the van. But the rewards were there, clean, fun waves and lots of low tide caves to squeeze into and explore.
