You are truly an inciteful guy. I think product reviews are difficult to navigate. That being said, it isn't that difficult to just be honest and agenda free. Fame sounds miserable, and in a niche' this small, certainly wealth won't be a factor either. 😀 I don't recall what you said about night shots now either. They are difficult to capture?

It truly is a mine field, I think the lure of those sweet sweet monetised clicks is just too much for some channels to resist. 🤑 Whether they get them by promoting an item or by deliberately creating controversy. As time passes I'm certainly becoming far more selective about those I choose to follow, listen too and engage with; and in many ways that's no bad thing. The cream rises to the top. 😉👍🏼🙏🏼

Hi Aggy. Know what you mean about the "reviews" of brand new gear. Don't mind it if people describe it as "first impressions" etc. Also hate click batey "don't buy x before you watch this" type crap. But like you, I've also lost interest in several outddor channels that have become all "reviews" and very little outdoors! Hope the training is going well👍

Haha, I'd forgotten about the "don't buy x before you watch this" brigade, my other personal fave "why i'm never buying xxxx again" 😂🙄 But yes, switched away from a lot of channels that I really used to enjoy, sad really. First week of classroom based training is done, I'm in the field training now for a week and then back to class for another week, it's all a bit hectic..

hey Aggy I uploaded some first-ever vids on my channel - just different recent short vids hanging out in my backyard, you know the usual boring things you use to show only to the family for a laugh - also going to get one up on the deer that were in my backyard. I am getting/gaining some knowledge on how to put together and post some hiking camping vids up on KZitem so that when I can finally do those things again I can share the more recent ones with the world! woo-hoo of course the world will promptly shake their heads and move on when they see them. but my grandkids think it's awesome that papa is a KZitemr. rofl when it comes to domestic AND usually even wild animals - I have found screaming and yelling usually work to scare them off. unless of course they just want to eat you, then all bets outside of some type of weapon are off.

Well Ken, I will check out your vids right away and I look forward to the future uploads. I really look forward to them as you seem to come across as someone who has a wealth of experience and wisdom under their belt. It will also be nice to put a face to the comments 😊 You don't know how glad I am that we don't have the human eating kind of wild animals in my local vicinity; as fascinating as I find watching videos on bears, mountain lions, snakes, crocs, gators, warthogs, hippos and killer honey badgers I'm glad we don't have to deal with them.

Haha, don't worry it's not the end; just a lull in proceedings. I'm just at the end of week one of a 4 week training course; apparently I get to go home this weekend, yay!
