Go pros and phone cameras indeed make terrain look more tame. It is because of the wide angle lens extremely small sensors. I used to do more gnarly terrain that that jeep trail. My Dad worked in the Forest Department and I used to accompany him on real forest drives. We used to do river crossings and other rally gnarly stuff such as mud bogged forest tracks. What you drove through is actually very tame. Later on in life I was bitten by the mountain biking bug. So used to do extreme downhill stuff. I had an interesting experience on the way to Sultan Battery through Bandipur National Park in an old Ambassador car. We got lost on logging trails and had a night ride in pouring rain. This happened in 1996. It was raining and the car was slipping on the uphill sections of the dirt trail. It was pitch dark but we could see elephants on both sides of the road taking no note of us. We came across only one logging truck in the entire 3 hour ride whose driver called us insane. Midway we came across a section where bamboo were pulled across the road. And lo and behold there was a lone tusker standing on the right side in a gully. He should have been eating before we disturbed his peace. I had to walk out of the vehicle and pull back the bamboo to make way. It was definitely scary and tense as we were not sure if he had a family around. I came back with a profound respect for the Indian elephant and the good old ambassador car. Both are highly misrepresented icons of our country. People on the internet over sensationalizes the Elephant as if they are aggressive all the time. To me they have more sense and safer to be with than most drivers on our roads. And that ambassador, It had no 4 wheel drive or lift kit. It was a trooper, it got us safe to where we wanted to go. Some adventures and good memories!

At least when I went there there wasn’t a time frame as such, is was till the swing stops swinging on its own after two strong pushes, which is about 10mins max. Do consider subscribing to the channel and sharing my video!😁
