This song is THE BEST. I first heard it when I was only 11 years old in 1987. Since then, of course I got into UFO big time, but this was the only classic album Waysted made. Much better than Tyketto much better than the later UFO when they reformed. It sounds like UFO, but a bit more pop and there's nothing wrong with that!

You have great taste Metallic Bill, I went to see UFO in 2008 and 2009 at the House of Blues in Chicago. They still Rock! It was a long 7 hour drive from Hamilton, Ontario but well worth it.

Former UFO bassist and song writer Pete Way. Waysted is Pete's second post-UFO project. Fastway, Pete's first post-UFO band with former Motorhead guitarist, the late, great, Fast Eddie Clark, never actually featured Pete Way on any of their recordings. Pete left UFO without realizing he couldn't just start another band, because he was still locked into his recording contract with Chrysalis Records at the time he tried parting company with UFO. Michael Schenker had already successfully left UFO by that time, to start The Michael Schenker Group, and, to make a guest appearance on The Scorpions' breakout album Lovedrive, which was appropriate, since Michael was originally The Scorpions' lead guitarist, along with his older brother, rhythm guitarist Rudolph "Rudy" Schenker (who co-founded The Scorpions with lead singer Klaus Meine), and UFO poached Michael from The Scorpions, to replace their original guitarist, Mick Bolton, who failed to show up for one of UFO's scheduled gigs, with The Scorpions serving as UFO's opening act on that particular tour. But since Pete couldn't start a new band because of his contract with Chrysalis Records, instead of being bassist and co-founder of Fastway, Pete chose to step down from UFO, and joined Ozzy Osbourne's Diary of a Madman tour instead. According to Wikipedia's entry on Pete Way: "Disliking the more commercially accessible direction UFO were taking in the early eighties, Pete jumped ship to form Fastway with former Motörhead guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke. Pete was unable to extricate himself from a contract he signed with Chrysalis, and stepped down to play bass for Ozzy Osbourne during the Diary of a Madman tour."

I saw these guys open for Iron Maiden on their World Slavery Tour in Edmonton, Canada. Being a huge UFO fan it was great to see Way and Chapman starting the show off right. I bought the Save Your Prayers cassette rhe next day and have since picked up the remastered CD. What a great album, what great memories. I still play it all the time.If you like this stuff try Tyketto, Danny Vaughn is the singer of both bands. Thanks for posting this video!

Isaw these guys open for Iron Maiden. I was so blown away, I went out and bought their album the next day. Listening to it now, it's still a good song, but it's amazing the stuff we considered 'heavy' back then is tame by modern standards. I mean seriously, Michael Bolton could sing this on an easy listening radio station and it wouldn't be much different. I look at bands like the White Stripes, who are not considered a heavy band, have songs much heavier than anything Waysted ever put out.

@mrliverpoolal well my favourite bands are queen, pink floyd, journey, partially deep purple etc., i play guitar since 2003, i hate metal, but i love ballads and blues rythm. my favourite musicians are joe satriani, eddie van halen, ritchie blackmoore(deep purple)and carlos santana. yet, i still keep serching for less famous groups cuz i know its very hard to get recognized. this song is not bad, but i think great white is the best unrecognized band. tell me, why u think i dont know good music!

@blazejecar - You can safely ignore the comments from mrliverpoolal about not knowing real music. All those bands you have listed are my favourites as well especially Queen (more over the great Freddie Mercury). If you not into this 80's hair metal staff (if you want a good laugh or be shocked by the sheer cheeseyness of it check out King Kobra - Hunger) checkout Guns 'n Roses.
