9:30 And I love that. My artist always says that He is a low-key therapist, which is true. We always laugh, joke around, and talk about everything that is on our minds and We are friends. Not just client and artist. I trust Him and He trusts Me (Showed Me that on a lot of occasions). "Choosing" him was the best choice I could make.

4:16 this is so true. I worked in a shop back in the day with this artist that would always set the AC to like 60 degrees. The shop felt so cold you wouldn't even want to take your shirt off to get tattooed. Still to this day I have no idea how he worked like that

I love the weirdness of it, the abnormal, outcast especially with dark artists like Paul Booth and maybe even Jesse Levit! Brandon Herrera as well I'd love to meet them some day, as far as ego goes.. I think Ink Master glorified that part to where it's like everyone's giving off that overestimation like Saint Marq would I mean.. you gotta meet these people in real life somehow.

I paint as a hobby and also know a lot of local artists. From a patron’s perspective this is my favorite thing about working with people who create for a living. You struggle, push through and empathize for your creations until it takes everything out of you. Paying for a piece that brings me joy is redoubled relieving the pain of someone who put hours into their work. It’s the most human feeling there is.

Tattoo artists are always marginally interested in what work they do. Unless they’re incredibly established or have their own shop… they tend to treat you like you were the kid that didn’t pick them for a game of kickball. God forbid you ask a black and gray artist to throw some red in

I wanted to be an apprentice for a long time, it wasn’t until I was almost completely covered in tattoos and spent a lot of time in the shop and in the chair, that I realized that I love tattoos, and art, and would’ve liked to make money in an artistic field, but the culture in tattoo shops suck.. a majority of tattooers seem narcissistic, talking crap about other artists or clients, etc. even when they try and cover it up for the sake of business with a thin veneer of kindness you can see it come out in their snarkiness at times. And I think to myself, do I really wanna work around them for the rest of my life and be around them for two years unpaid before that? Not really.

Honestly tattooing becoming a 9-5 in my opinion sucks. Use to go at night and be able to relax and now you have to pay for the tattoo as well as loose money taking off work. Obv the art itself has come a long way but the culture change imo sucks

From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $355k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

My portfolio is very much diversified so it's not like i have a particular fund i invest in, plus i dont do that by myself. i follow the trades of Mrs Diana Lynn Fusco. She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial adviser as her diversification skills are top notch, say because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.
@waltercamela

@@bobschriswell565 By following trades do you mean copying her trades, as is done in etoro? Are you giving her your money or the money stays in your account? I have heard about copying trades but have not looked into it but i have an idea of what it is.
@bobschriswell565
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah exactly. My money stays right in my account. It's all programmatic, plus it's relatively much easier to set up and connect my accounts than creating a financial pan and drafting investment strategies myself, my account just mirrors her trades in realtime.
