I wish that my husband would take this seriously. I have consistently been prepping, but its bad when I'm prepping, and my husband mishandles them. Please say a prayer for my family and I if you are reading this. I will continue to pray for the host and viewers. God bless you all. We all will survive what's to come,it has been written.❤

Trying to prepare for what the Bible tells us is coming is hard enough. Not being equally yoked in the task with your spouse makes it that much harder. Many are in your situation. The day will come when he will thank you for your foresight and action. My prayers are with you.

You are not alone Theodora. My husband also does not see what is coming, he sees inflation but doesn't think those in charge will allow it to "get that bad" because he thinks they still care about getting our votes. I've prepped since 2020 and have prayed for his eyes to be opened ever since. I homeschool our two daughters and even they are interested in preparedness. One thing I have done is to work hard on gaining skills not just food, but also getting things for as cheap as possible from food banks and restaurant supply. I will pray for you and your family!! I would very much appreciated your prayers as well. My husband name is Jeff.

As I prayed for you, I saw an old blue car, your transportation is soon to turn around for your good. Lastly, the Holy Spirit is revealing to me that you have been parked too long. God has given you many spiritual gifts, the spirit of our Abba Father says, go forward with the ministry that he has laid upon your heart, full force. He says you must remember he is your Emanuel. In Jesus-Yeshua, the Christ name. Heart ❤️🤍 💙

Gosh that brings back memories! The winters of 1976-77 &. 1977-78 here in Louisville KY! We had at least a month solid of near zero or below temps! It froze the Ohio River 5-8 inches deep! Unheard of for us in this area. To make matters worse, it happened two winters in a row! '76-77 Boy did we burn through the wood, we had a well insulated home too. Dad had just gotten the New spray foam inside all the walls. It hadn't been on the market long. That helped a ton, but we still used up 2 cords of wood. Plus we had a oil furnace. My dad had got a good deal on the wood and figured we'd use a cord and have a cord for the next year, kinda be ahead.... But we used it all. From there on out we kept 3 cords, used up the older and just rolled over the rest. Those years that it wasn't too cold, we saved a ton on fuel oil and just burned the stove. In 1967-68 we had an ice storm and knocked out our power for 2weeks. At that time all we had was the fireplace and we nearly froze to death. We moved the couch all the way up to the hearth to stay warm. My dad was constantly splitting more wood, but all the heat went up the chimney. He wound up with pneumonia and the ambulance couldn't get to us. So our family Dr called in a prescription and my neighbor was a pharmacist and owned his own little pharmacy. He hiked all the way to his store to get my Dad the medicine and brought it to us. I saw my Mom praying and talking to him trying to keep him alive, his fever got to 105. He was talking out of his head so much, I cried. I kept trying to bring in wood, but I was only about 6. All the logs were too big. I got the small stuff and sticks. Mom tried to split some but it was hard for her. When the pharmacist saw our situation, he went and chopped up some for us and brought it in, after walking all that way. He sent his 2 teenage sons the next day and they got alot of it chopped up and brought into the house and in the garage. When my Dad woke up 4 days later, he had no idea what had happened. He was so shook to see me and Mom crying and afraid, He said that he would fix this right away and about a month later he found a good wood stove and put it in. Then over the next few years he added to the insulation everywhere and eventually got the "Insul-spray" (the name on the side of the truck). They said it would make the money back in 15 years. Well, it only took ten till the sub-zero hit. That's when Dad said that it was worth every penny. He also got a second window pane put overtop of the big picture window. He made certain that the wood was chopped and stacked up. Not just the big logs in the yard. Evey time they said "snow" he moved the car out of the garage and loaded it up with the wood. He would say, he learned a lesson the hard way and wasn't gonna make that mistake again. I learned to be prepared at a very early age.... I Praise God for that time seeing the hardness of it all and then seeing my Daddy work hard to protect and keep us warm. Been a prepper ever since!! Thank you for all your help and showing people what to do. God Bless you 🙏

I was raised in south east Kentucky and a railroad tracks was right across the street from our farm. Us kids were always sent coal picking the tracks with 5 gallon metal buckets for what fell off the train passing. We never had to buy or cut wood even though plenty was around. There was always plenty to forage. Occasionally a truck would tip over or go down a mountain side and we would pick that up as well. They didn't even clean it up back then. They knew society would. Coal burns super hot for a long time too. Burns much longer and hotter then wood dose.

I had to buy pre split wood thisbyear as i was too busy in the summer to get ready. As a rwsult the delivered wood isnt seasoned and burns poorly. And is close to twice the cost. Lesson learnt. Id say i had 3 or 4 cords of seasoned wood left ive been mixing in withe the green. I have a cord left. . . But ive just been blessed to go and get some 200 year old roof beams. Oak! Dry as a bone. Probably two cords worth. So hopefully we will be ok. Food storage is at about 4 to 5 months worth. Im just stocking up on lentils, garbanzos and rice to put away long term.
