Ken, I know you! You owned that great Motorcycle Museum! The New England Norton Owners (NENO) had one of our monthly meetings at your museum; what a excellent place! I didn't recognize your voice because we have never met, I made the connection when you turned the camera on yourself. You Sir are a man of taste and refinement; I'd love to shake your hand. Too bad you shut down your museum, that place had a great collection of MINT motorcycles! It's good to see that you are still active with motorcycles! You are a great steward of vintage motorcycles and motorcycling. Excellent that you passed your love of motorcycling on to your son. This is a thing of beauty. It's no surprise that I like your videos.

For real though, Justin, you have my respect. As a guitar guy, I know you pay a premium for Fender/Gibson custom shop to "relec" a brand new guitar. Unless you are trying to recreate SRV's #1, I'd prefer to "relec" my guitars through normal playing- and I baby my guitars like you baby your bikes.

I have to agree with you, i just cant understand relic ing a guitar. Ive loved guitars, motorcycles and surfboards since i was born i guess, never heard of relic job. I use them but dont tear em up, to me they are art. Form and function, i couldnt do it or buy one. I was a painter and detailer so my stuff allways looked super good. I dont know if that was a reply but i agree with you, put the wear on em yourself.👍

Ahh the KE100, takes me back. I'm 46 now, but when I was 17 years old I went to my nearest town to help my mother with her shopping, and came home with a 6 month old white KE100 - L registration (1993/94 UK) that an RAF pilot had owned for its first 6 months on the road to gain a bit of confidence before upping his game after passing his riders licence. It had about 600 miles on it and was in mint condition. My mother had to sign as a guarantor on my first ever finance deal and I rode home from our shopping trip with my first ever legal road bike. Better still, my friend had a green J reg (1991/92 UK) and we road the wheels of them. Total freedom ! I've never been without a motorcycle since and currently ride a ZRX1200r in green (the fast colour 😝)

I bought a '93 early release xr650l in the fall of '92. I was a Navy guy stationed at Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso. I used to ride with some Army "tankers" who were on a kx200 and 250. It's not that I was so good, it's that they really sucked. I rode their wheels off! That 650L had the best forks I've ever known. I sold it 6 months later to get a 500R, but, 30 years later, it's still the most memorable bike I've ever had. The XR motor is bullet proof. God Bless Al Baker.

The suspension on the dirt version of the klx400 is the same as the dual sport but the dirt only version had a thinner head gasket and made a little more power. The drz400sm was the only one with different suspension and swing arm, the sm had rm250 suspension and renthal fat bars.
