LAST WEEK'S VIDEO▶︎ • Preparing For The Wors...
In this week's video, we helped our 4 year old and 2 year old build a colorful rainbow igloo. We put food coloring in water in 9x11 aluminum pans and froze them overnight. Then we combined snow and water to create a strong slush to use in between the ice blocks to freeze them together. It took us 3 days to finish. We made a 7ft circle in diameter and built the first 3 rows straight up. Then on the 4th row, we started tilting the blocks in. To cut the blocks to fit as you start to close the igIoo, use a flat-head screwdriver and continually draw it in the cut you want.
The first night is was complete it was dripping from all the slush but now it's rock solid and beautiful! If we had more time, we would've misted the ice blocks after to help them shine. We tried sleeping in the Igloo overnight and will attempt it again!
