Hi Chuck, I've watched your vlogs for many years now and respect you a great deal and you've taught yourself Thai language fantastic! The thing if you don't mind you see I was married to a Beautiful Thai woman for 18 years and learned the Thai language I thought well ,but as Americans our Thai annunciation just isn't OK ,I realize 🤔 now just how kind all my Thai Family and Friends were towards me listening to my childlike pronunciations you know how patient Thais are. I'm really glad that you have great support keep up the hard work!

that soil being what it is and having maybe a 4 month DRY season, with pretty hot temps you can bet your ass that in the early days, primitive man ate a lot of found rotten animals, fish, etc. Also the lack of ice or refrigeration added to this. Hence dried fish and meat. And vegetation... I kid my Thai friend and point at random plants and say "can eat?" and about half the time he says, YES, good. Over the years I think this just kept going to some extent, especially in a poor region like Issan. Gf will be eating, stop, go in the yard to some bush or tree, pull stuff off and add it to her meal.

The Thai government is giving big discounts to encourage Thais to travel. You should have Paige book the room and use her Thai discount, up to 40% if you book 7 days in advance. Check it out. Rao Tiew Dauy Kan is the program. Even some of the street vendors and restaurants support the program. They get paid full price by the government, so it all works out nice for the Thais.

Another great video. I appreciate the effort you an the other vloggers do from Thailand, whether it be you or Foreigner Joe, or Sidetriplife or Buzzin Pattaya as you all provide valuable information and jaw dropping scenery. These vids give guys like me a better idea of what to see and what to do, that's why we subscribe. That being, said don't let the complainers get to you. Your in paradise and they ain't {I hate arm chair complainers} so keep up the good work. So next winter if you see a tall, muscular, tanned, handsome man standing on a beach in Thailand..well that's not me. I'm the bald, not so tall Farang, hiding in the shade under a tree because my skin tone would make a ghost proud. One question though that I have to ask. What was the Thai mafia sticking up their noses in the backseat of your car?

That thai discount is basically a gimmick in my experience i have had my thai girlfriend try to book hotels many times and the discount is taken off the full retail price of the hotel when checking Agoda and booking the hotel is actually a lot cheaper with 70% discount off
@notime2bsad
2 жыл бұрын
But you can also add the fact that you get 40% discounts off of the food as well. That you can't get from Agoda. But I figure if it's a little cheaper than Agoda and I get a discount on the meal at least the hotel can recover some of its losses from the government restrictions by collecting a little bit from the Gov. that help take it away from them.

You presume that they used roman letters and they should have American pronunciation... very presumptuous... If you want spelling the way it is pronounced and for that to be global - then all languages should use the IPA alphabet (International Phonetic Alphabet)... which is used to explain pronunciation in the best of dictionaries (and also to override and tell computers how to pronounce a word).
@notime2bsad

Only thing I presume is that when everybody says the word Island in Thai they sound it with a k instead of the g either way it doesn't matter thai people can't understand foreigners anyway.
