In Malaysia, we dont say enak. We say, sedap. You can save the 'Enak' for when you visit Indonesia. Also in Southeast Asia, each country is nationalistic. So try not to mention other countries you are visiting so much in your vlogs. All of Southeast Asia prefer if you talk about their own nation, when you are there.
@JayandKarolina

@@JayandKarolina Yes, even when you travel to Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand etc, they wont like it if you mention about the neighbouring countries. Its a Southeast Asian thing. We are all neighbours, but there is intense rivalry between nations and often it gets intense and nationalistic. Malaysians are generally more accepting because we are the more developed nation in Southeast Asia, either mentally or developmentally. So we are generally the most accepting of Southeast Asian nations. It gets tougher when you visit the other Southeast Asian nations next. Take care and stay safe in your travels.

I suppose what the person above is trying to say is that people are proud of their own heritage . You cannot find anyone more inclusive and tolerant of other cultures than Malaysians as we are of different cultures and religions. Hi Jay. I do have a question. Appreciate it’s a personal question, but as you’re at the beginning of your KZitem journey (with this channel) I’m hoping you could answer how much Adsense revenue you guys are making a few weeks into your travels. Would be interested to know as I was thinking of doing something similar with my partner and wanted to know if it’s a viable option. Thanks for any information you can provide in advance ❤
@JayandKarolina
Жыл бұрын
Hi Paul! It’s important to point out that I was a full time KZitemr in the UK for 3 years so the knowledge and experience was transferred over to this channel. The ad revenue is much smaller compared to my UK channel Gig Hustle and you have to get massive views to live off that especially for a couple. So we are really living on a small budget whilst we grow the channel. I’m not sure if you have any experience with KZitem but it’s one of the hardest things you can do and most people don’t succeed (look at the figures on Google). That is not to discourage you but to put things into perspective. If I would advise you I would say to save up enough money to travel for a year and learn how to make videos for KZitem whilst travelling. You’ll enjoy your travels and figure out if it’s for you. I don’t want to sugarcoat it because I’m filming, editing and uploading everyday just to make it work and it’s tiring but the opportunity is there if you really want it!
