@thespiritoverflesh This is indeed one of the best preaching on the good news. But at the same time Voddie is a TULIP Calvinist. He believes in God's sovereign will over free will. He believes man is not partially depraved but so utterly totally depraved he is unable to even initiate a response to God. My question is...if we don't even have a little bit of free will to choose God, how does God appreciate our love?
@paulgemme6056

@@animalfarm-sd7yu I believe we do have a free will. But scripture says that God draws unbelievers to Christ, then one has the freedom to reject the truth. Pride won't allow them to admit they are a sinner in need of God's Grace and mercy.

I’ve always always always disliked the world very very much, and I think the devil took a different approach to me, where as some he allows you to love the world that is evil, he allowed me to dislike it so much, that suicidal thoughts were my cross to bare, I tried once and failed, was in a hospital for days with bleeding ulcers and other issues, Jesus Christ stole me right out of that mindset so fast I got whiplash! Praise the lord!

Realized at a very young age that this world along with the people who live in it can be really evil/corrupt/sinful (including myself). This world is not our home, Looking forward to that place where only righteousness dwells. Peace be with you! Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (2 Peter 3:12, 13)

Bro. Voddie This was a great sermon that you preached. But I still feel we as Christian still sin. In my opinion we will still sin until we allow the HOLY SOPIRT CLEANS US. I have been SAVED for about 42 years yet ever DAY AND NIGHT i ask Jesus to forgive me of my sins. I pray for FORGIVENESS ON MY DAILY, if you ask me why I do this it is because there may be something that I may have said or done something and I did not realize it until I kneel and pray and it come to my attention of what I did. Then there is an opportunity to ask forgiveness for what I did. I do not want anything to stand in my way of making HEAVEN MY ETERNAI HOME WITH GOD MY FATHER ANS JESUS MY SAVIOR, GREAT MESSAGE.

It's not an opinion that we still sin post baptism. It's the privilege we have in christ to ask forgiveness when we fall. We don't become sinless, but we indeed sin LESS because of the Holy Spirit waring against out flesh. Until we have new bodies, we will struggle in this warfare. But Our sin doesn't intimidate Christ, he's not shocked when we fall. He's looking for transparency. God bless everyone !

This is a great reminder that we are naturally opposed to God. Under the influence of the world, the devil, and the flesh. We are all so quick to blame the devil while removing our selves from the equation. Forgetting that we are natural born sinners and we like it because it’s pleasurable to the flesh. Not one of us was seeking after God. Praise be to God for his goodness, grace, and mercy. Be blessed my brother’s and sisters.
