Aimee don't sell yourself short saying you're using an ebike. Seeing and feeling your anxiety at the beginning what you're doing is MASSIVE ❤ Is there a time limit on donations? It's not payday till the end of the month and I'd like to donate to your bike challenge. That's some serious going, well done to everyone 👌

Aimee, thank you for opening up in the beginning of the video about how you were truly feeling. It can be hard to verbalize how much anxiety can take over your body and I personally do not believe that an E-bike is cheating. You are doing what you can for the cause while also prioritizing your body and mental health, which is what the challenge is all about!! Don’t be hard on yourself, the challenge is hard enough🫶🏻

My thoughts exactly. I felt that anxiety on camera so deep in my soul. I know it has been said often, but please don't stop showing your true self. It helps so many people not to feel alone during a panic attack. Due to health reasons I have an ebike. It is not cheating. It is joining within your own boundaries. I am sooooo proud of you.

Never feel bad about riding an e-bike! You're out there living your best life and showing wisdom by recognizing your limits. Riding is riding, whether it’s powered or not. The mental health benefits alone make it worthwhile. Keep it up and don’t stop-you’re inspiring many others to get out there and embrace life!!

Craig saying to do what filled you up as a kid made me actually cry. I faced food insecurity as a child and my favorite times were when my mom had enough money to get a snack from the store. She’d bring it home and I’d watch tv and savor each bite. Right now I’m eating a yummy pasta and it just reminded me that kid me would really love where I am now ❤

Aimee. Don’t feel bad about the electric bike. I ride well I tell my self I ride and when I see others ridding together and one or more has the e bike and notice they feel bad about it I remind them that at least they are still out there. If this is what makes you be out and about or able to keep up with others or have an injury that keeps you from being 100%. You’re out there doing what others are not. This makes you a ROCK STAR. Keep it up both of you.

Sorry I cannot afford to donate, I’m American & can barely afford groceries currently. Perhaps next year….but HUGE KUDOS to y’all for doing this! I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression & ADHD. Surviving each day can be a challenge. Thank you for bringing awareness to & breaking the stigma of mental health. 👊🏼💕 Did Aimee just let me know she also watches Somers in Alaska channel? They are the only other people I have EVER heard use the phrase, “hallelujah praise”. I’ve heard like hallelujah & hallelujah praise the Lord, but Jessica & Bert are the only folks I’ve ever heard say simply hallelujah praise……until today. 😮😂❤

You weren’t cheating… and the way that you always manage to find a way to overcome your anxiety and fears makes your accomplishment twice as inspiring. Depression and anxiety make it so easy to just say oh I can’t do that and give up, but you are inspiration because you find a way around your limitations to succeed at what it is that matters to you and God bless you for being so open and forthcoming with your struggles, and sharing your successes. You inspire me to continue my own journey, trying to overcome my mental health challenges instead of just giving up and giving in. And what a keeper you found in Craig. The support and love that you give each other is truly beautiful.

Big hugs and many, many thanks to Aimee for opening up at the beginning - I have a serious spine condition and it's been a life-long struggle to do fun stuff bc I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish them, do them at a pace that others can or that I wouldn't be able to enjoy bc I felt self-conscious of how unfit/less fit than others I am. Taking an E-Bike and fighting the voice in the head that considers 'cheating' is brave as heck and I believe a great example of resilience and self-kindness - join as YOU can, do YOUR personal best and have fun while seeing how far YOU can go, and leave comparisons at home. Thank you, Aimee, you're a champ 🎉❤

Seeing how open you both are with your struggles with mental health has given me the courage to be more open as well, and to start therapy. Seeing you, Ames, going through the mental battle before starting the race - thank you. Thank you for sharing that vulnerable moment. I just saw myself in you, the same battles I face. The sadness, frustration, fatigue, the anger when your body/mind feels like your worst enemy... how some periods are just constant struggles and you can't seem to find the way out of the cycle... but you got on that bike. Who the fuck cares if it's an e-bike. You got on, you kept going. and that is everything. That is courage, and that is strength. Proud of you.
