Congratulations Raye and Jin! Now you can tell everyone you climbed the highest point in Korea! It's definitely not Everest, but it's still something that you can be proud of and always have this memory forever. ๐ป๐ฐ๐ทโค๏ธ
My husband once convinced me to go with him and our two boys (around 10 and 11 at the time) to hike the trail to Anna Ruby Falls in our state. It was beautiful with the stream meandering among the rocks and tree roots that look like art, but that big sign in the beginning of the trail omitted a few characteristics of the hike........stinkers. Not only was the trail getting steeper and narrower as we got closer to the falls.....the side of the trail was a drop-off to the valley with the stream.....as someone who is afraid of heights, I pretty much clung to the wall of tree roots as I was trying to avoid the occasional gift left behind by the dog hikers. The falls were really beautiful as were the dogs who left all of those gifts behind.....๐.

Oh my gosh! This story was so funny to read. It sounds like your experience was equally fun as it was terrifying! I bet it's a memory you'll never forget!
aww bless you that was tough, congratulations to you both at one point I thought Jin was going to have to throw Raye over his shoulder and carry her, i bet you were both stiff the next day or so, I know I would have been, lots of love from the UK xx
Congrats Raye and Jin. I remembered taking a nice hot bath after a long hike, it actually made my muscles hurt more. But afterwards I just passed out and slept for like 16 hours ๐๐

That's why I wanted to do it...a once in a lifetime experience! Even though it was difficult, I know we'll always remember that day so it was worth it!
Congrats. I ran up Mt Halla during a running race called Transjeju where runners have to complete 100km over 3 days. Itโs beautiful mountain and just go up up and down down lols.
Yes it snowed in Minnesota ack....๐ and it is 15 degrees below average. Ack. But I am so engrossed in your climb. And the comfort stations. The awesome topography and especially your determination the weather here is secondary to your incredible ๐ effort. Jin thank you for your videotography. . Jin and Raye raves for your endeavor and endurance ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Many finger ๐ to you.

Wow~!~! thank you for taking us on this hiking video first time seeing this hike path; beautiful, I will be watching this again when i go home on my ipad as i walk on my treadmill. Also, a healthy man twitches, snores and (bang goo) when sleeping this is a sign of a thriving life and sign " I'm still alive and well baby"
